Save money by making your own camera mount instead of buying an expensive commercial one.
Tailor the design to fit your specific camera and bike setup.
Plywood is an eco-friendly choice compared to plastic alternatives.
In this video, I’ll show you how to make a robust and stylish 360 camera mount perfect for capturing all your gravel cycling adventures. This DIY project uses laser-cut plywood and a lot of glue. Laser cutting ensures each piece fits perfectly, making assembly a breeze.

insta 360 got into a lot of s#!+ recently for asking You Tubers to be more authentic by being less honest. I’m not taking sides. To my mind the insta 360 is still the best camera to film yourself on a bicycle with one click it turns on and starts recording in every direction I bought the pocket 3 which is an incredible camera but it can’t do that. I love making films for YouTube but the one thing I can’t stand is making everyone wait around while I set up a camera or sort out a shot essentially all of my friends want to go for a bike ride and so do I so anything I can do to speed up that process with the added benefit of providing an alternative angle so that I can shoot hands free well that’s a bonus it’s that easy I should have made an orange screen for the top of my laser cutter the extractor fan’s taking all the fumes out into the outdoors which is lovely we just have a quick look in there and while I was at the laser cutter and airbrush I thought of a few more little additions to knock up the mounts certainly turn some heads and start some conversations I have to say I much prefer the side view to the GTA firstperson shooter. See what the footage look like when the lens is covered in rain but probably more dramatic [Music] the side view adds the bike as a character to the story and it brings you along for the ride as opposed to just showing you mine [Music] As previously stated here’s a shot of Davide waiting for me to set up the camera but with these mounts it’s actually quite quick I’m going to let it run now but check out the stabilization I’m Blown Away!

Just when I was looking for sth like that. Perfect. Which insta 360 version are you using ?
what lazer cutter do you have and if old, do you still recommend it, if not – what would u recommend now just for a hobbyest (i.e. not a pro).
I currently do more than id like with a 3d printer and reallly want to move away from plastic when i can. But also coz of the lamination its limited when strength/durability is a requirement.
Cool info cheers
