Nice will be hosting the finish of the Tour de France 2024, on its beautiful Promenade des Anglais! For the first time in its history, the Tour will finish somewhere other than Paris! This 111th edition will start in Florence, Italy, on 29 June and finish in Nice on 21 July 2024.
The Tour de France, the world’s most prestigious cycling race, is set to captivate audiences once again in 2024. Traditionally ending on the iconic Champs-Élysées in Paris, the 2024 edition marks a significant departure with the race concluding in Nice, on the French Riviera. This change, prompted by the Paris Olympics, brings a refreshing twist to the race’s grand finale. Spanning over three weeks in July, the Tour will cover diverse terrains, from grueling mountain stages in the Alps and Pyrenees to scenic routes through the French countryside, testing the endurance and skill of the world’s elite cyclists.
Finishing in Nice, a city known for its picturesque Mediterranean coastline and vibrant cultural heritage, will offer a stunning backdrop for the Tour’s final stage.
