I found this bike on Facebook Marketplace. Bought it to convert it to single speed as a beater. I didn't realize till I got home that the front wheel is much smaller. It's a 25-520 (24×1). It's rusted and chipped but I love the color. I couldn't figure out what year or model it is from my Google searches. Does anyone know?
Interestingly, it has Trek markings on it. Is there any value to this bike? It is an unique bike. Worth keeping as is or doesn't matter if I convert to single speed? Any insight into this bike would be appreciated.

Post a picture of the serial numbers. Pretty easy to get the construction date off the serial numbers. Pretty clearly a Trek that someone re-decal’d.
