Nearly a year ago my Q-Loc thru axle seized inside the fork/wheel and stopped me from fixing a deflated tyre. These forks and thru axles are pretty widespread on cheaper MTBs like mine. It seems this is pretty common for Suntour forks so I’ve written up a blog about a permanent fix, by replacing the Q-Loc thru axle with a third party Hexlox one. Hope you find it interesting/useful.
