Got a killer deal on this bike! I used the extra money to swap almost all the components to make it a little more modern! Microshift drivetrain turned out super smooth!
If you can track down the original front fork that would be amazing. That Manitou is hideous!

Nice job! Looks like you could cover a lot of distance on this bike.
With the scuffs on the seatpost I’ve had good luck with a quick touch up using black enamel spraypaint, I restored a ’91 Rockhopper and did that https://i.redd.it/e80j2u6ir2ea1.png
What about switching to V-brakes? That would be an upgrade I would be keen to do if I was going to be riding this
