for those who are curious about which colour to get, here’s a dried tomato one.
wanted to get the oregano but it was sold out immediately, so i went for the colour i would have thought i’d regret buying. but in fact, i startet to love it. it’s one of those colours that grow on you!
It definitely gets some attention in the city.
It’s a size XS, and even though canyon suggested to get size S (I’m 173cm, 79,5cm leg) , i sticked to my preferred stack and reach. 70mm stem probably is too short, but is an easy fix.
For the gearing it is important to know that its a noticeable difference to the “real” AXS XPLR with its 10-44 cassette. Canyon is fitting this bike with the 11-44 cassette with Shimano freehub, and adding the 650b wheels for the smaller sizes you really can feel a speed loss in comparison.
My girlfriend rides a grail cf sl axs, with the 10-44 cassette and 28″ wheels, and there certainly is a speed difference of 6-8 kmh at the same cadence in the fastest gear.
