Me revoici avec une vidéo, en Français cette fois!
On part de chez moi et on se rend au magnifique Lac de Montbel, en Ariège, dans la région Cathare des Pyrénées en Occitanie.
Voyage ininterrompu et en totalité, bien qu’accéléré.
On utilise une très belle piste cyclable, à emprunter à pied, à cheval ou à vélo!
La Voie Verte elle continue jusqu’à Mirepoix, mais pour cette vidéo on se contente d’aller jusqu’au lac.
Ce qui aurait du être 17km s’est transformé en 22km parce que je ne faisais pas attention, mais on y est arrivé sans encombre.
Il y a beaucoup à voir et le revêtement est nickel, donc très très agréable a emprunter.
Partons en balade à vélo ensemble!
Mon vélo: un Rockrider des années ’90 sur lequel j’ai rajouté un panier, mis des pneus hybrides ainsi qu’un petit moteur électrique pour assistance sur demande quand j’en ai besoin (pas souvent!).

We leave my home and we head out to the gorgeous Montbel Lake, in Ariege, in the Cathare area of the Pyrenees in Occitanie.

It’s a very pretty cycle track, to be taken by foot, cycle or horse!
The Voie Verte itself carries on all the way to Mirepoix, but for the purpose of this video we simply head out to the lake.
What should have been a 17km ride turned into a 22km one because of my own “airheadness”, but we got there no trouble.
There is a lot to see on the way and the surface is really good, making it a particularly enjoyable track to use.
Let’s go on this ride together!
My bike: A 1990s rockrider on which I added a rear panier, put it on hybrid tyres as well as a small electric motor to assist when needed (not often!)

Short route to the lac… EXIT HERE! I just realised I went way too far! There we are! 22km instead of 17, and 45min duration
