I'm planning a 2-day bike trip near Chamonix this summer and am looking for advice on a good route. Probably around 200km including one or two "famous" climbs. Trying to create a loop starting and ending in Chamonix (and taking a hotel somewhere halfway), but having some trouble finding something that doesn't involve autoroutes. For example, someone suggested the route below, but it looks like there are sections of highway (eg leaving Les Houches going towards Taninges, how to avoid La Route Blanche?).

I'm from the US and usually use RideWithGPS and Strava to find good cycling routes, but not sure if these are the best options for Europe? also, willing to start and end from another town as long as they have a good bike rental shop (La Clusaz, Megeve and Morzine are other options in addition to Chamonix)

    Any help is appreciated!
