it may well have been not by Design Shan it was the only thing that they had as an option and they wanted to make a statement as well I think to hit back after the team dominance that we’ve seen from U Emirates this Melisa bike wanted basically to do the same I think punch and counter punch for goodness sake but it just did not work for them I think the element that was missing was probably seus a man who fell Hill I’m afraid during the doof bigo himself said of course we miss him but we got a great team around me well that team today Sean I’m afraid have just been burnt themselves down in the service of this man and for our entertainment it’s been glorious but as you say maybe if they let the Breakaway go as you say in hindsight as well you just never know if it had worked we’d be singing this gloriously from the Treetops which we’re now leaving behind yes well if we had a different tactic a different strategy from Vima Lisa Bo here and just sit back leave the Breakaway go away because uh you know the men the break away in the GC there were no danger whatsoever and you know keep your men in reserve for the final and that means you know maybe 60 70 km Out start using the right as we see much early in the day like a b like of uh snic van all of those guys and then in the final use the better climbers and try and take their leader further up this final clim and then see can you do the uh damage in the final five or six kilm but vingo had to take it up so early it was always going to be a difficult one against this man when you look at the way he was riding yesterday uh but they had a plan to a plan to you know to put in action here today and they went out and uh done it but it hasn’t worked out for them and they’re just going to lose more time as we see 37 seconds to this man the air goes off they are indeed the crowd hyper animated and well they might be they’re seeing a man here in Bacha with a 36 second margin for the time being over go his finger go he’s put over 2 minutes already into Remco aopo himself a fantastic Rider and indeed the rest of everybody else has been put to the sword by T catcher he’s in the mood sha well he’s in the mood and uh he has to be in the mood you know this is the the D day as yesterday was also the days when you have to be able to produce performance the terrain presents itself and my God the terrain has you know tested everybody here today after a very difficult day yesterday and it’s this man who is you know uh standing up to and you know taking uh the taking the race you know in his face and just grabing the opportunity here and you know making bigger Advantage back to uh the man who was chasing and being go here going out to 40 seconds at the moment and these are his people fabulous well King of the Hill the man W the king of the mountains sits at 42 seconds B got AO at 2 minutes and 10 meler nearest man to aole is at 3 minutes and five and in betting par hor ring par it’s bar those my goodness what a bar sha he’s raised it again yes well he is uh proven to be the uh the best man of the two big challenges here and you can see you know he’s just pulling out the advantage this man and it looks like he going to be a huge time [Applause] [Music] loss well good news for Mark Kish um and all fans of those who are suffering today they have just started the climb to add 16 minutes to the mark caves a deficit will get back to that in a few moments time meanwhile this man is bringing it all home here finger go at 45 seconds 34s of a minute down Shan that is a wound that’s almost too much to bear well it is going to be a big one considering being go started out this morning in the GC at 157 it’s going to be another minute at least here for the man defending uh the champion here and we can see V go you know he is is uh suffering and uh you know he’s just going to try and get into the finish here in the final uh 1200 me 1100 M uh as quickly as possible but the time loss is going to be a big one here and yeah know looking at the ear part of the day we wonder Vima the way they were controlling the race the way they were making it difficult was the defending Champion be able to push something else to B but it hasn’t been the case against this man he is still the the D minent man of the day on this real difficult stage here in the Pyrenees let me just tell you uh Mark Kish gretto at 36 minutes down if it takes them if they lose another 16 minutes on the climb it’ll put them at 51 minutes that is very touch and grow meanwhile let us dwell on this man he is now up amongst the blue sky here and more than that he has taken flight this day a difficult day some say the most difficult of this entire Tour of France it self BU as one of the most difficult in memory well yesterday was an uphill finish an amazing one to sari Pacha took that ahead of y’s finger goal he’s going to take this ahead of the very same man one two possibly one two three today exactly the same as it was yesterday but the margins are absolutely enormous and you can give margin none of that to this man he is phenomenal you can’t cut him any slack because he will just cut you down today it was a magnificent effort by yonis finger and Vis meisa bike to try and put him to the test he passed it with flying colors he has he will be wearing a gold stage medal and of course he’ll be turning yellow to gold in this most amazing piece of climbing Alchemy he is in charge of this race T catcher has he just won the Tour no but he’s taken a massive step towards doing precisely that he’s going to bring this home like it is his home he owns the place for goodness sake any Peak any time it’s mine wow and the clock counts back Shan to y his finger go as Brave as you like a brave strategy today as well his entire team were lined out for him but the line had already been drawn in the Sand by T A catcher and he just couldn’t step over it in the end and we’re going to find out by what margin he failed to do so yes well it is going to be an enormous margin and uh yeah we can see this man again another monster performance on this final time he did it yesterday he took 39 seconds out of being and go yesterday in a 10 km climb today of course you know just that 16 km climb it is going to be over the minute here and this man uh he is after having a real difficult one to try to limit the losses here and the losses are going to be big absolutely enormous well you saw him there just a few moments ago Shan fatigue washing over him just took a wobble towards the barriers thankfully just managed to hold on to the bars and here it is absolutely as you predicted it’s it’s over a minute for goodness sake let’s see the margin 1 minute and8 sha what a huge C

    1. Its very funny that when JV beat TP in the sprint, they say the course is changing. Now that TP winning mountain stages , they say he's on 💊. Well JV won the last TDF, shall we say he's also on 💊? But i wont say that coz JV deserved that recognition. And so give TP all the credit he deserved rather than painting them as dopers.
      Im fan of both.

    2. That is what it is like when you have to ride by yourself with no wind block of riders in front of you.Jonas always rides behind other riders including sitting right behind Pogacar even last year and then comes out at the end to clinch a win, similar to runners in track racing.

    3. Pogocar is a beast. When will the TDF do something about fan interference? This has been a continuing problem over the years. Spectating doesn't include the right to interfere with riders.

    4. Ridículos, podgadcha está corriendo 💨 SÓLO el único que puede con él, es el Danés y está lesionado 🤕. Eso es cómo un cojo, correr contra un atleta que tiene sus dos piernas completas. A Eso admiran????? INSULSOS

    5. Wonderful guys. Both incredible.
Thank you Netflix to show the other side and their poin of view. To all of them big 👏👏👏👏

    6. Jonas coming off injury showed alot of reasons why he is 2 time tour winner man he defends like the Champion he is mad respect he is still the Champ until he isnt

    7. When Vingo attacked, Poggi did not even bother getting out of the saddle to easily go with him. That is how large the difference currently is between the two.

This is not ‘22 where Jumbo had 2 legit GC contenders in Roglic and Vingo, who who each took turns attacking Poggi and this is not ‘23 where Poggi was recovering from injuries he’d suffered in the lead up to the Tour,

Pogo is going to take the Giro and Tour double in dominant fashion. Monster!

    8. And no suspicion of doping..?…To be that far ahead is Armstongesque….sorry, it all seems too bizarre….Secondly, these fans are insane, and that any rider has to gauntlet his way past them is getting more crazy each year…I love watching the TDF, but years of questions on performance never go away, now the insanity of fan interference is showing, so, today, I sit back, watch and expect nothing…..Sporting events and the money, games and results are off the charts in questions about the legality of it all…Entertainment is what it is these days…if you can ignore the rest. Pogacar and the V man are shockingly good..and if you don't question that…..say no more

    9. Hoy le metio 1:09 min, pero todavía NADA ESTÁ SENTENCIADO Y AQUEL QUE DIGA QUE POGAČAR YA ES CAMPEON DE ESTE TOUR, PUEDE ESTAR EQUIVOCADO. POGAČAR ES MI FAVORITO, SIEMPRE LO HA SIDO, hace 2 años vi como VISMA LO DESPEDAZÓ, era mucho equipo el Visma para TADEJ quien virtualmente estaba solo; hace un año tambien me dolio ver como POGAČAR quedaba segundo, otra vez Visma tenia mejor equipo que UAE…. AHORA ES DIFERENTE! CADA INTEGRANTE DEL EQUIPO HACE SU TRABAJO (QUIRÚRGICAMENTE) Y POGAČAR DA LAS ULTIMAS PUNTADAS PARA QUE LA OPERACIÓN SEA TODO UN ÉXITO! SI, disfruto ver las victorias de etapa de POGAČAR en la alta montaña, PERO TAMBIEN ADMIRO Y APLAUDO ESE GRAN SENTIMIENTO DE CONVATIVIDAD QUE TIENE VINGEGAARD! AHORA A ÉL LE TOCA ESTAR SOLO, VISMA NO LLEVA BUEN EQUIPO, PERO AUN CON ESO, VINGEGAARD LE DA BATALLA A POGAČAR! QUE GANE EL MEJOR, DE TODO CORAZÓN DESEO QUE TADEJ SE PUEDA HACER CON ESTE TERCER TÍTULO QUE TANTO HA BUSCADO…. 2024 PUEDE SER EL AÑO! VIVA EL CICLISMO, EL DEPORTE MAS BONITO DEL MUNDO❤❤

    10. Has any knowledgeable person discussed the two straight lines rising up from Tadej's pedals shoes, knees, and hips?
I said "straight lines" ~ he's anatomically perfect on pedals.

Look at any other rider; find anyone similar.

    11. Visma was disappointung today tbh, how can you leave your leader alone at 12 km from finish! They should be able to contribute more if they want to challenge Pogacar

    12. Total domination from Pogi. He has won the tour. You might as well hand him the La Vuelta trophy coz there no phuckin way anybody will beat him. 🥱🥱🥱🥱

    14. Over… those who were saying that the Giro had no competitors for Pogi simply do not understand cycling.. like anybody could rival this sort of form from Pogi.. is only fight for second place.. is he going for the Vuelta 😂☀️

    15. Wow. Just wow. I was honestly hoping for a closer race. Not necessarily with Jonas… with his recent injuries he was always a "maybe" in this Tour–and has done impressively well all things considered–including his lack of team support (on the level that he had the past 2 Tours). But I was hoping SOMEONE would rise to the challenge and give Tadej a run for his money. The guy obviously LOVES to compete… he's even competing with himself now… since he has no other real competition in the race. Look how hard he was pushing at the top of the final climb–riding right at the limit–even with a huge overall and stage time advantage over his nearest rivals. He literally did not let up one bit until AFTER he crossed the finish line. Few if any other riders would have done that with that much distance between him and 2nd place. I'm already thinking about next year's Tour. Jonas is an amazing rider and loves to win as well. I can see him pushing himself harder during the next off season to elevate his game to Tadej's new level. And I think he can do it.
