hello and welcome to highlights of stage seven and queen stage of the Jalia women starting in Lano finishing at the top of Block House Alisa longa borghini taking a 3 second advantage over L keki into the Stage 38 seconds to cesley UT TR blig in third what a stage for the queen stage of this year’s jro 1202 km 3,730 m of climbing not just once up the block house but twice the first Loop taking us up to Paso lanciano and the Second Ascent going all the way up to the top of block house for the Chima alons Strada it was a very select leading group that was together on the Paso lanciano the malosa of Alisa longini well in attendance the white jersey of Antonio n of Canyon Shram with claraa emund the queen of the mountains retiring from the race yustin hakira her closest rival in the queen of the mountains classification made sure she took maximum points at the summit of Pas lanciano the rider from AG Insurance sudal had been to the hospital the night before and had stitches in her mouth but she took maximum points and with it would take the blue jersey at the end of today she would hope that someone like NE Fisher black wouldn’t take the stage Victory 30 points on offer at the top of the Chima alanen Strada on The Descent guy Rini of Le Trek was railing It Down The Descent and was putting quite a few Riders into difficulty she was distancing a group almost a minute back Alisa longa borghini L of keki NE Bradbury Antonio needid all with her the group behind Paulina Roy akas along with Urka ziga would take a while to get back in on The Descent also getting back on would be Blan of vast of SD Works Brody Chapman of Leal Tre came to the front at the bottom of the Block House 162 km in length averaging 7.9% maxing out at 14% it was an eyw wateringly tough day for the riders in this year’s jro the Mercury had been touching just under 40° at the start in lanciano so keeping cool keeping hydrated had been key on the climb under the pressure of guy Rini Juliet laus and CES ludvig distance just off the back of the group The Pocket Rocket Italian was shredding the Pelon and with NE Fisher black and mavi Garcia the next two Riders to go backwards Rini setting the pace for Alisa long the borghini who had her nearest rival in the red jersey world champion L keki glued to her wheel with laser sharp Focus TR ludig had started today in third on the general classification she was losing time NE Bradbury of Canyon tram first big attacker on the climb with her went Paulina Roy Akers Longo borghini keki and Nida just taking a time to get back on 9.4 km to go the Aussie launching her move had started the day in 11th 2 minutes and 2 seconds down on the general classification that acceleration did distance her teammate Antonia niday started today with a 56 second advantage over Bradbury in that white jersey Pina Royers was doing one of the rides of her career nid had also made it back Longo borghini and keki just never quite far away from each other 6 and 1 half kilm too Longo bini launching the move it took a moment before keki jumped on but the Belgian from the team of SD Works Pro time we saw the talent on the climbs of the world champion on the cold the tour Malay in 2023 T of France babic wh and she was putting in another career defining performance on the Block House Roy aers repeatedly coming back to alongo borghini and keki nothing that at least along longa bini was doing on the climb was managing to distance keki from her wheel with Brad ahead she would take the 10 bonus seconds if she could hang on for the stage Victory six and four though still on offer for second and third across the line every time royak has got back on she came through to the front never one to sh her responsibilities always likes to set the pace time and time again at least along the balini of little Trek throwing in the attacks but each time L keki rolling with the punches and coming back and sticking to the wheel of the Mal Arosa it was living up to its billing the queen stage of this jro at the head of the race though it was the young Aussie NE Bradbury that was putting in another career defining performance the 22y old had taken her first world tour win in the recent tour to Swiss as she crossed the line she can now call herself a Jiro ditalia women’s stage winner behind her the Sprint for second was Tak by keki she took 6 seconds Longo borghini took four royak is crossing the line in fourth place but the general classification with one day to go is now separated by a second NE Bradbury coming through as one of the climbing talents of her generation she took the stage ahead of L keki and Alisa longini royak n laus Fisher black rayini meing and Garcia your top 10 another day another Mal Ros as she’s LED from day one but it is now down to just one second to the world champion L keki Italy haven’t won this race since 28 NE Brad moves herself up to third Roy Akers up to Fourth and we go into a final stage which at 117 km 2,46 M on elevation a category 3 and a category one climb along the Route before another Hilltop finish in laquila you do not want to miss this it could literally come down to the throw to the line between Alisa longa bini and L of keki [Music] [Music]

  1. For me this year the Women's Giro really comes into its own. I did watch women's cycling regularly before but this year I'm really looking forward to the race highlight every day. The course is just brilliant this year. Wish it was longer.
And now ever to the mon in France 🙂 This year is cycling heaven for me.
