[Music] morning minut [Music] yeah hi guys welcome back and thanks for joining me again on my ride today [Music] yeah what a beautiful day today absolutely beautiful look at that Sky Guys not really sure where I’m going to be fair I’ll probably have a little spin around Bobby Tracy and head back but I don’t know that’s probably about a 40 M trip so that I do I guess yeah let’s do that I I sort of left the home with no plan in mind um no Seaside today despite it being such a beautiful day I would normally go to the seaside or to the Moors but today no so as usual guys let’s go and see if we see anything interesting on today’s ride [Music] Oh What a Beautiful Day I reckon this is the uh best day of the year for me so far morning morning yeah I’ve seen um I’ve seen quite a few cyclists out already I’m only 5 miles from home can’t blame him on a day like [Music] this all clear it’s big old Hill this one I think it’s about 16% I still keep the bike in uh in eco mode if you can see that there I still got 2.2 miles to go of this hill okay I got some extremely long hill Hills here in Devon and some of them are very steep that’s what I love about this crew morning [Music] there oh I still got uh let me see there 1 1.8 miles to [Music] go on this hill yay [Music] that’s the summit guys woo that was a big hill big big hill and now for The Descent [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] yeah I’ve decided not to go to the team Valley [Music] today yeah I’m going to go up over this hill and then up another massive massive Hill I’m going to make my way out to uh Morton Hamstead yeah I got no route to stick to today I can go where I [Music] want free [Music] them it’s nice when you got a A pre-planned route you know what I mean there’s nothing wrong with that I do I do that most of the time to be fair but it’s also really nice on days like this just to go veryy fancy I see these uh ampr cameras are springing up everywhere as soon as you come up over that Hill there or even come up this hill saying that you caught on that ampr camera years ago you just used to take the back roads like this if you was avoiding the uh the main roads you know and heavily policed but um now now even these um back lanes and back roads are covered now I have noticed I’m springing up all over the place that’s the thing with Devon it’s like a roller coaster up and down up and down [Music] [Music] so we’re just at the beginning of another three mile hill it’s got a nice one though up through the woods yeah so I’m at a place called steps bridge now uh beautiful place you know you see me riding the river down there that beautiful river river path gravel path could have been nice to do that today as well thing is when the weather’s like this oh there so many places you want to go so many places [Applause] [Music] yeah it’s just so nice nice and cool Under The Canopy oh it’s been a long time since I felt the warmth like this it’s beautiful it’s been a long long wet miserable winter yeah I brought myself a new Silka saddle bag I don’t if you guys can see that back there yeah the silic saddle bag it’s really nice I did have a design um saddle bag um similar to this one but it’s started to uh Decay on me I’ve had it for years and years so uh I updated it with the sil one and uh yeah it’s really really nice no velro on this one like it was on the laign this one’s got a nice bow strap like I’ve got on my shoes I do like those Bower closures and uh that one there works that one there works just as well you can really tighten it down to the saddle doesn’t move a millimeter to be fair it’s no bigger than my old uh laign bag um it’s just generally just an upgrade really I said my old one was uh starting to fall apart I needed to replace it it’s a good size for me I’ll get a nice tube in there um all puncher puncher repair kits and bits and pieces like that uh multi- tool yeah so it’s uh really works for me 2.1 mil to go [Music] yeah so I’m still in eco mode as I like to stay in eco mode on the outward Journeys as you guys know and I can treat myself to turbo on the way home yeah so that’s our Hill done and now I’m heading down into uh Morton [Music] Hamstead I’m in Morton hamster at the moment guys this is the uh St Andrew’s Cemetery here in Hamad beautiful beautiful Church yeah absolutely gorgeous so peaceful here uh yeah like I said my uh Sil my Sil bag it’s a it’s really really nice um as you can see it’s got a boa strap on it similar similar in size to my old laign one but um yeah matches really well sort of the same material as uh as my tail fin bag and I think they match just perfectly yeah well pleased with that yeah you can really really let’s crank this one up so you can really just crank this one up and it’s a solid in there so now I’m going to leave Mort how instead and make my way down into to Bubby Tracy taking the road I’m not going to take the um the ray Valley today I’ll say goodbye to this beautiful [Music] [Music] church seems to be lots of flags flying around today I’m taking a left here here [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] ah just saw 25 miles yeah still in E mode got 77% of the battery left I’ve done 2,170 ft of climbing say all right there [Music] H yeah on 27 mil into this ride now um I got 75% of the battery left and I’m on the homward journey guys got some big big Hills to climb so as usual I put it up into turbo for an easier ride home [Music] [Music] this is a a massive Hill this one I still got another a mile and a half to go um you had out from chudley this takes you up to Holden but yeah this is a bad one real [Music] real nice coming down mine hello all right least she sensible going down I’m normally freaking head down ass up and going as fast as I can like an idiot tell you what I’ve been impressed with the uh the Wahoo watch it’s been working absolutely fantastic for me especially tracking my sleep which has been quite interesting seeing what um light sleep and my RM and deep sleep and all that how many hours um yeah it’s uh that’s been very interesting and I’m finally having the uh heart rate on the uh Wahoo room is a real real nice feature so I got the lights here on the side of the waho and I’ve got them set up now to uh give me my um my my heart rate really so I’m in the green at the moment which is good climbing this hill in [Music] terrible I guarantee if I didn’t have the cre well when I didn’t have the cre I’ve climbed this hill thousands of times and uh it’s not one I ever ever look forward to climbing really don’t mind it now I it he’s having fun that bless [Music] him yeah so when I get to the top of this hill I’m going to do a POV then uh from Holden all the way back down into exitor so I’ll be going down through Ken so you probably would have saw that one by now to be fair cuz this video will go out after that one I hope you enjoyed it all right guys I’ll uh next time I’ll speak to you I’ll be in um I’ll be in [Music] exitor didn’t take long to get into exitor did it well I got to say what an absolutely beautiful day it was today thoroughly enjoyed myself like I said I made the route up cuz I went along it
