I’m missing a clamp that connects the seat and a piece that holds the handlebars to the frame. Not exactly sure what I even have here. Always wanted a Trek and came across what I thought was a good deal.

Looks like a Gen 5 Fuel Ex 9.8 GX 2021-2022? Looks unbuilt and with the damage to the rear end’s paint and the missing parts I’m guessing this was robbed for parts to deal with a different bikes issue or showed up with damage, and while waiting for that to resolve it was robbed of parts, or its just plain old stolen. Its probably just been sitting in a box or hanging for years in a basement. I’d probably do a more indepth look for damage but if it passes you need:
For the stem you could check at a Trek dealer and see if they have an extra other wise you will need a new stem. It is Knock Block so you you need either a Knock Block specific stem or an adapter for any other stem. Trek sells and adapter.

You will need to choose the specific size (length, travel) for everything but the clamp so make sure you select what will work for you fit. Need a seat post clamp. Measure tube OD for the size.
Need a seat post and seat. Fuel EX comes with dropper post. This is sized to frame size. Diameter and dropper length.
This looks like it’s so hot. What’d you pay? Def looks like a stolen rig
