[Music] and we’re getting into this uh more technically now in the final number of kilometers here um this is where you have to be in the good position not on the front for the moment with your team but certainly know keep to the front of aair although it’s a smaller uh bunch here this is going to be an important run and you can see you know there’s a lot of teams just waiting off here on holding is it the fatigue or is they thinking okay we have to just keep as fresh as possible for the final run and give our man a good lead out well most teams are are missing probably half of their their Riders so you’re missing those those chains those those links in the chain of a lead out train so you need to wait longer there’s the fatigue of the race is an element you want to keep it shorter you don’t have as many men to use but you also don’t have an entire peleton that requir quite the in the same sort of intensity as a normal bunk Sprint but they can be very very tricky about getting yourself caught in there’s a lot of riders to be starting to think I’m not really a sprinter but in this sort of group this sort of fatigue I’m prepared to have a go at [Applause] it everybody’s looking for the wheel of binam germai he was following Phillips Matthews was going to him the Lee moves up as well there is gay moves up to find his team a little bit of a lean there both of them going together Kristoff laort was there laort just said I’ll just move him out out of the way and B says haven’t you heard this green jersey gives me extra power shift Al dear is moving up as well 164 now is on the wheel of his teammate have two teammates with him vukan moving up to try and help him on the left hand side it’s Abramson who’s moving again and this man has no off button yoris Abramson over 750 km in the break before today and yes he was in the break again today he’s got a gap there are 3 km to go now is there enough fire power to chase him Sean well we can see here it’s pet on the front here and uh you know the GC teams are the ones if it wasn’t for the GC teams he got you know that 10 seconds Advantage he would be a difficult one but look at the way he’s going here and you know the teams immediately they realiz Loro Dy want him to not allow this one to get any advantage yeah lot of Destiny and is that Brent F Moore the man who is with the as leading the chase arold dele in his will then it’s Nils pollet with t pgachi behind him Phillipson right in the middle on the wheel of a teammate G just coming up on the right hand side with a man in front of him he has Lawrence Rex in this group as well latest round about out the way big turn coming up just before a kilometer to go and then there’s little rights and lefts it’s back now for Abramson and it’s and Mar here with turnesa who will not want to go yet yet but he’s just keeping gmai right up there two k to go now another man two men coming up on the left hand side to help [Music] [Applause] out now in control Anto Mar still up one right he tried to come forward with his teammate hasn’t made it but they’re three in a row for biniam G right on the wheel now of G slotting in yasper philipson in the dark gray T Pacha out to the right next to philipson more or less he yes right next to him Pascal araman trying to come forward and take up a position that allows him to go for the win no time for GC riders in between you and your Sprint Rivals now it’s time for them to get out of the way big left turn coming up and under Mar keeping the speed as high as they can to keep GMA in the right position on the right you can see the European Champion Kristoff lap he’s moving up W who’s on the wheel on the left it’s Luca mesg who’s following the wheel of Arnold dear Michael Matthews further back one man peels off from R Mali they lose position briefly but gmai makes his way through the Gap there is that run in to the final kilometer now and Sean Kelly at Mar had control yes they have control but still a kilometer to go and uh you know we can see a lot of good to good sprinters here the fast Men In Contention here in this smaller group not as hectic when it’s the big bun Sprints so it’s an interesting one but inter Mar in control 750 me to go left turn and look at the speed on the left hand side with a massive crash that’s a huge crash and down is dele massive problems there nve made the split at the front and fat is in the game here he’s in the perfect position also there now waiting to try and do his thing is pinam gay you can see behind There’s an opportunity for nikkas AR he’s there for bahin coming up now to the final 300 M behind the yellow Jersey follows on of course you can see the move on the right there it is it’s philipson coming through it’s vard though philipson now hits the front and this time going to my looks boxed to it’s y philipson going all the way W for on his wheel also trying to get there on the right hand side you can see that it’s aan but it’s G my out the way and at the front it’s Philipa that holds on that was a real mess but it’s yasper Philipa who wins for the second time at this Tour of France and the move from Lotto destiny that calls Carnage on the far side

    1. i hope whoever the astana rider was that got taken out in the barriers, or anyone else doesn't have major issues that was a rough crash…

    2. I understand hitting the wall but some of these riders are in the middle of the pack and just give up. Get to the side of the road as quickly as possible and dont gingerly meander your way to the side.

    3. Lotto rider should be punished/ fined and relegated for that crash he caused. he shrugged it off quick but it was blatantly stupid and 100% his fault.

    5. On behalf of all Eritreans I'd like to thank all cycling fans for the support and the warm welcome that you showed to our rising star Biniam Girmay.❤❤ Congrats Jasper on your first clean win🎉

Further: Eritrean-cycling has more than a century history, and cycling is so popular in the country and one can even say the people breath and dream cycling for a long time, and Eritrean cyclists have dominated African cycling for a while. So, it's no surprise to see a strong contender emerges from this small country. So, all cycling fans throughout the world brace yourselves for more talents from this country. Eritrea in Africa, just like Colombia in South America will supply stars for the years to come. Love to all❤❤

    6. I used to love pretending to be a road bike rider….an old man reliving his Eddie M childhood idol days, when affording such bikes was a mere dream…flash forward 55 years, really good bikes arrived…but at 71, I gave the road around the Covid time, after a I nearly T….boned a car that drove straight out across my path while I was doing about 50 kmph…….Point of the story….can you imagine flying along like these young guys do, and in a millisecond being thrown up in the air, and slammed into the ground before you knew what hit you…Dear Lord, do I respect this sport..truly the toughest in the world…

    7. Girmay is using more than just the green jersey to get away with cheating. Double and triple check his bio samples…cheaters tend to cheat every where.

    8. The Lotto rider was unsighted squeezing through the left that started the crash. The Lotto rider threw the shoulder to push the dropping rider who moved across to the left… just unfortunate.
