hello hello hello welcome welcome welcome it’s another day of the Tor of France 2024 we are of course here and uh well we’re going to be talking cycling uh we’re going to be talking what’s happening on the stage 121 km still to go here of the stage this looks like it is going to be one for the sprinters and I have to start by an apology because yesterday I told us Lies We have got one of the Riders out in front that I was I said a lie about and that was yanis abrahamson of course saying that he was going to be wearing his trade kit for the first time since stage one I believe but of course that’s not the case he’s wearing the polka dot Jersey still because the although he’s not the leader anymore that is T batcha but he does still have the honor of bearing that Jersey so the uh Norwegian from skon he is still in that Jersey but we’re finding our way around and well well one of the C climbs here and uh I just realized we haven’t got the right uh the right uh Graphics here so I’ll just get us that as well but nevertheless we have got a few kilometers to go before we get the nitty gritt here Al and are the team working at the front end of the Pelon right now and they are of course looking to try and secure another stage win for their man yasper philipson we haven’t quite seen uh match Vander at the front end of the race in terms of fighting for his own chances but maybe we’ll see that maybe we won’t who knows he is very content with taking stage victories as a team of course so yeah nevertheless uh we’ve got one colom left here for this next cized climb of course that cized uh competition uh the journey that we’ve been talking about that uh poka do Jersey it’s still to on four but right now un it does sit on the man who’s won it two times already tacha why do I say unfortunately do I have anything against tatcha no I certainly do not it is more that I don’t like seeing the Jersey being won by the guy who wins the yellow Jersey that’s it doesn’t matter who it is yonas vingle tacha Chris room I want to see the polka dot Jersey on the podium by itself and not kind of a secondary prize but Bill ba has been dropped Bill ba has been dropped here from the Pelon so uh he’s struggling a bit here Bill b not being as fruitful over toward France like he had last year finishing inside the top 10 and also winning a stage dedicating that to Gin mea and yeah bar victorus not had the best of uh torto Frances so that’s a bit of a shame for them but nevertheless 1 minute 36 seconds here 37 seconds for the Breakaway that we haven’t really discussed Val madis is is out there with his teammate Quinton pase and they’ve also got as we’ve spoken about already the Norwegian Jonas abrahamson wearing their pocketo Jersey on behalf of Ty batcha Anthony Tois as well the stage winner of Stage Nine he’s in here and yeah if you’ve heard the news that uh their bikes were apparently stolen at the beginning of the day so very very sad to be honest but uh yeah I think all the teams just getting the best without uh yeah but yeah thank you for the kind comments as well Elon plenty of our familiar ones here what are we saying as well how does it happen that so many bikes are stolen okay we trip down memory lane guys so the yeah these teams obviously the kind of Backstage of this they have a huge okay no let’s wait with that we’re coming to the C Sprint here or the mountains Jersey Point here there one point it’s c full climb the C Rocka Mador unchallenged here yonas abrahamson takes that point but anyways going back to the stolen bike the man who finished second on this uh right now that categorized climb is Antony Tois I think I’m not sure which bike he’s riding but of course that’s yeah try and replace 30 40 bikes in one day it’s very hard for any of the team sponsors to do that but we’ve had plenty of bikes stolen in the past and if you think about it 20 well 30 well more than I think it’s 20 to 40 bikes that they have including time trial bikes so imagine that times that by1 15,000 that is a sizable Bunch uh of bikes so €150,000 that is reported that they’ve lost in value yeah that 10 bikes maybe and uh yeah it it used to be gangs that went around stealing it from Team car oh well teams during the night which yeah I it has happened in the past so that does lead you to think uh there was special parking happening as well with the cars putting team cars in front of the truck so they were blocking them off but evidently that hasn’t been enough but right now we Alon Alon kerik really putting the pressure on here on the Pelon what are they thinking here are they thinking this small shark tooth section here only in the span of the next 10 15 km we’ve of course got the intermediate Sprint as well coming up shortly so uh that could be what they’re thinking about but Bill ba not having a great time here out the back the best country Rider a very good Rider he recently finished second in the tour of Slovenia so it looked like his form was there but uh maybe he’s just come down with illness or something like that bill B of course one of the best climers in the pelaton but yeah Al to cing at the front here they’re thinking of success they’re coming towards the top end now of that categorized climb that we just saw abrahamson sweep up their only Point there’s four categorized well there’s three four cat climbs on this day and uh it looks like abrahamson has swept up the first two are are they going to be seeing the third one as well abrahamson as well we were a bit critical of his writing if he was really bidding to try and take this jersey which is a tall order cuz he’s also been reporting that he had has what was it uh put on 20 kg of weight as a rider and it has helped him a lot he said with his results so yeah um we will wait and see if he can do anything in terms of that Jersey and the longevity of the competition of course stage 13 there’s only two Cat four climbs uh so only two points solitary points off of grabs and then we come into Stage 14 that’s where everything is going to kick off and the first climb is the c c tum where he’ll be hoping to do exactly what his teammate did last year tobas Hal johanneson and take the maximum points there who was it it was a m style Rider wasn’t it was it Rubio Ruben Guerrero was it him that they had a bit of a a rough uh inroads to that uh M Jersey but great to have so many people here and uh bie update on bny you guys want uh I think B’s fine he’s still in the pal on Bill b is the one you have to be concerned about 3 minutes and 8 seconds down but yeah 117 km to go this is pretty much um a fast finish you have to say you I can’t see anyone really testing the sprinters I did see someone uh um yeah I saw someone saying that this was going to be a breakaway I don’t think this is going to be a breakaway do well we’ll ask you guys in the comments as well uh oh Bill b i think Bill Ba’s going to this is it I think Bill b is going to say he’s going to yeah withdraw Bill b withdrawing from this year’s toal France that’s a big shame big big shame he’s hard enough I think it’s illness this uh yeah this is yeah uh so bar and Victorious they’re going to have to rethink their approach here what they’re going for of course haven’t had the best to France by their very high standard as a team as well let’s not forget that three stage victories last year mate moric wat pools and Bill BAU here and B BAU getting a top 10 as well so yeah the team car needs to just make room for him now in the car and yeah what a shame what a shame just the logistics as well of a rider leaving when you think about it how much goes into these team so there’s going to be hotel rooms booked for Bill b for the next uh 10 days as well so yeah but I mean when you’re there you’re there it’s like can’t do anything about it so um s s but Bill b great Rider and shame to see him leave who’s going to win the stage that is a big question here um we’ve got plenty of uh Opportunity by the Riders maybe Baron Victorious will can just be spur on Phil bous just yet to taste victory here in the tour France in his career so the German Sprinter might want to do something here today you’ll definitely try but 1 minute and 54 seconds alpas in and I think moar is towards the front as well moar of course not having a great tor France by their high standards remember this is a team that finished a double podium in the past with Nao and Val but yeah they’re very far from that now andri M the closest you’ve got in the tour was that I think it was fifth wasn’t fifth he did a double fifth one year fifth in the tour and fifth in the Welter which I thought was a very good performance by him let’s just double check yeah in 2020 he did that since then well since 2020 in 2021 enrick Mass was sixth didn’t finish the last two editions before this and right now he’s not sitting that high up but Bill b withdraws so uh yeah big shame that I think that’s the first withdrawal as well we have from borrowing victorious in this year’s race we can just as the pace nothing’s happening we talked about the Breakaway out in front 1 minute and 55 seconds but there is no real action now so it’s a good time just in this downtime to just have a reminder us all including me who’s actually left the race Tim the clerk Mass pson they’re the two abandonments for little Trek many teams still fall ah Fred Wright was out of the time limit yesterday so Fred Wright is also out bill baow is out so they’ve actually lost two Riders there so two very strong Riders uh Casper pson as well out for S quickstep we remember that one after not starting in stage four had a crash similarly Alexander vazov who had a crash on stage n surprised he even finished that stage to be honest but he didn’t start the following day after the rest day uh Macho Vanderpool he’s here his whole team is full yeah uh cofes had that double dnf yesterday with ion yira and Alex Renard but yeah most of the other teams yeah I’m quite surprised how full it is Mikel Malu didn’t start today so Dane who’s retiring at the end of the year or that in this season he didn’t start oh Fabio yakobson is out as well Fabio yakobson is out that’s a big shame mik guli he’s out uh as we know stage one but yeah the pro Continental teams pretty much most of them have all their Riders here so uh we’ll wait and see what happens here in the race but uh yeah that is a big big um yeah that’s that’s that’s very sad that Jacobson is out leaving without a stage win in this year’s torto France unfortunately second year in a row so yeah we’ll Wai and see what happens with DSM of course they are pretty happy about that stage win that one two and stage one but uh yeah they would have hoped to have gotten a stage win with their new Sprinter um yeah bit of a shame there but we’ll wait and see here uh they had a bad crash earlier so we had a bad crash earlier uh who had the crash let me know Arman was that yakobson I believe it must have been Jacobson I saw something about him on proy stats but uh yeah one less rival for yasper Philips and andinum gay but Jacobson hasn’t really been firing all out here unfortunately uh we’re seeing yonas erard here he’s out at the back he’s normally quite an integral part of that lead out for yasper philipsson so that’s going to be a bit of a worry seeing him quite far out there might be illness going through the Pelon as well some of the Riders like Bill bow that is a big big shot to be honest but you guys 76% of you are with me not that that was some kind of unique genius take uh I was just a bit flabbergast that people were saying that this was going to be one for the Breakaway the breakaway have 1 minute and 53 seconds now they have 112. 3 km left so you can see it’s not really in the favor of the Breakaway right now but uh yeah a big shame to have a lot of riders leaving in the last few stages first week was pretty solid for the amount of riders who uh didn’t H didn’t leave but Mark candes is here man he’s saying something here to uh the reporter he’s saying there’s Sprint opportunities but you can see that little um kind of uncategorized climb that could be quite good if interm really ramp up the pace but Jasper philipson we know he can be there on the inclines as well so it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to get rid of yasper philipson here uh thank you DB Cooper as well for a bit of coffee money as well well so uh although they don’t take dollars in uh in France so uh but uh yeah right now we’re seeing Rickard out the back but Mikel meru that’s going to be I don’t know quite a big loss maybe good big loss I don’t know but uh yeah he’s definitely going to be mourning the loss of Mikel meru here so yeah um but two of the Sprint sprinters domesti said they’re out the back here and uh Rickard and one of the other Riders 1 minute and 57 seconds you guys are firmly thinking it’s going to be a breakaway right now 11.7 km to go and uh anything is well anything can happen today that’s for sure is Bam gay going to take his third stage is yasper philipson going to take his second stage is Anor going to take his first stage uh but yeah the first big Sprinter here the first big Sprinter is g to be well is Jacobson leaving you have to say kin hen’s out here I think he’s struggling towards the back end of the Pelon so I think the pace is quite hard uh rard uh we were talking about before the Alon Rider he finds himself over a minute down on the Pelon together with that aan Rider so everything could happen here everything could happen in today’s stage in terms of the Sprint we’ll talk about the Sprint uh profile later on as well see if um yeah any team are going to be caught out by the finish of course we have got the preview and uh yeah I hope that you all like the previews as well put together by Jack R yorkman but right now 111.2 km it’s not it’s not the most explosive Pace right now but it is a bit of rugged terrain so yeah um we’re coming ever closer to that intermediate Sprint as well that’s where we might see yasper philipsson and beanie being a bit Liv here of course 20 17 15 13 that’s all going to be wiped away but that competition is going to be going all the way to the Finish I don’t agree though with the take that many of the pundits on Eurosport have that this competition is over I think Jasper philipsson doesn’t think it’s over I know for a fact that Binum doesn’t think it’s over so uh yeah quite quite weird to say that now but uh yeah Anything Can Happen really anything can happen in the stage today and we wait to see what’s going to happen if Bam’s going to get more success if yasper is going to win if Cavendish can add a second one to his um 2024 toal France I mean anything at this stage for him is a bonus uh you would say the whole goal of this extra year postponing the retirement was to get one more stage win equally what Berard hasn’t won a stage you haven’t had Anor dear Anor Dean has won a stage gavia we seeing mistar here putting the pressure on so is this them thinking that they could potentially take a stage win mistar not a great um not a great Tor of France maybe that should be our next question uh what would you give uh what would you give mistar well we’ll have to yeah what would you give M Star so far uh out of 10 let’s say out of five cuz uh let’s be honest nobody’s giving them five uh if anyone’s giving them five uh you’re wrong so let’s paint the picture for ourselves M Star no stage wins this team has had a very high bar in the past as we said uh quintano of course finishing on the podium for them a numerous times winning the polka Jersey as well uh what else they’ve had top fives with enri mass they’ve finished on the top 10 frequently but no stage wins right now no stage wins um and uh yeah they’ had a second place with gavia you’ve had losano trying to be up there they’re not worn a single Jersey as well so they’re not going to get any of that money but right now maristar are the ones putting the pace on here marar are trying to string this out and the Breakaway should be quite worried about this now so I think maristar just committing completely to being a well uh sprinters team right now gavia all in for gavia maybe gavia is feeling great Colombia’s in the cop America final so maybe he’s spurred on by that and yeah how is marar almost on four you guys when four is really really good so uh 22% of you have said mistar is really really good I would go for a one to be honest given their Rich Heritage in the Toral France are we are we saying that they have the connection with banesto as well because then you have to throw in Miguel uh Miguel indor in there so uh yeah 182 well no 182 no 108.2 km still to go 1 minute and 56 seconds so that mistar insurgence at the front hasn’t really be fruit right now so we’ll have to wait and see if they will actually bring this back before the intermediate Sprint um apparently one is too generous as well for mistar but mistar are trying to do their best to get out the front here the Telecom company here they used to be called cter paa as well in the past but uh yeah new sponsor well not new in recent times that change over happened a long time ago now but uh yeah can they leave this year’s toal France with a stage win maybe maybe not uh but yeah right now they’re Leading The Paton together with aland KCK uh okay fair enough a four out of 10 but I yeah I see what you mean yeah if we have done it out of 10 uh yeah maybe that would have been a better one cuz and it wouldn’t have been a five out of 10 anyway so uh yeah uh if we make it like that then uh the poll makes a bit more sense as well so if we do that ignore the five just say out of 10 and I think that’s what many of you voted for as well so many of you going for one many of you going for four but out in front we’re seeing valtim mw a man thinking about the polka Jersey maybe not because he didn’t challenge abrahamson for that solitary Point early on as well there’s one more categorized point up for grabs on this St stage uh but uh yeah um oh we’re going to see a stage win how do you get your bikes stolen yeah good question I mean if I was a team manager just the hassle of getting your bikes necked uh I would hire two nightclub bouncers to be up during the night I’m sure they’re uh that it’s easier to pay them for 23 days um than the the hassle of having to lose your bikes and replace them all so that’s what I would do but um yeah they would just have the they would just be sleeping on the bus during the stage and then they would wake up uh and do their night shift 106.5 km to go here 1 minute and 53 seconds so marar have taken a 3 seconds out of them here so uh anything can really happen here anything can happen uh what is Anthony Tois what is his bike what are toal what do they normally ride specialized still or not obviously peteran beinging bring specialized to the team but I’m not sure that’s still the case here but great to have 500 people in the chat and uh let us know where you’re watching from and who you think is going to wait the win uh win the stage of course the news we were referring to earlier was that to T they have lost a lot of bikes that have been stolen so uh yeah a great shame for the team we’re still not on 100 likes so make sure to hit the like button as well let’s try and get to at least 100 we’re nowhere near a record of uh a few days ago 1,200 or whatever it was that was incredible but 1 minute and 51 seconds now so they are just taking a bit of a pinch of the the lead out here oh it was fedorov fedorov the kazak rider he’s the guy with Jonas rard so uh yeah H but a reminder out in front we have valtin madis we have Quinton Pas we have Uno X Mobility with yonis abrahamson and Anthony Tois we might do a most disappointing team for you guys as well so there’s a few Riders oh Riders not Riders but teams that could be thrown into that box um who has been the most disappointing team so far in your opinion I’m not going to pro pro Continental team in there who has been the most disappointing team so far M Star yes you do get a a name in there who else who’s been disappointing Cofer D yes we haven’t really seen anything from them of course they won two stage wins last year but yeah 105.1 km still to go who was the other team I was thinking of uh B rain I’m sorry you have to go in here as well and who else there was one more team one more team inos granders can you put inos granders in there or is that too harsh I think that might be too harsh okay of course you can’t they took a stage win EF can you put EF in there they did wear wear the Jersey Le treack they’ve got Chona up there so that seems a bit uh worrying uh the team that got their bike stolen as well was uh toal energies just for confirmation there tal energies they were the team that got their bike stolen um little Tre is that too mean cuz Chon is up there so I’m going to say no we can’t put and and we limit ourselves to just the world tour teams Jula no they took the stage win so they can’t go in there uh but yeah 1 minute 46 seconds now so the lead has come down a bit after we saw the injection of Pace there oh fdj there you go fdj that was the team I was thinking about earlier but yeah so who has been the most disappointing team for you so far of course they’ve got time to uh change it as well it’s certainly not over here 104.2 km to go here and uh yeah up cing up towards the front here taking that stage win with yasper philipson on stage 10 that was a very welcome confidence booster for the team you have to say that green Jersey is on the radar once more but bam gay who’s looking to make history here he wants to be the man to win that of course but 14.1 km still to go here 1 minute and 40 seconds Now 1 minute and 40 seconds who’s going to win the stage well is mistar they want to with gavia if gavia wins that would be a very welcome win you have to say um Colombians would be very happy we would see Colombian Joy they haven’t taken a stage win in a very long time Colombia 2019 is that last time who’s the last Colombian we’ve had seen as a stage winner Nao kintana but abrahamson up towards the front here uh they’re through the collection Zone the bin Zone the rubbish Zone he’s looking around he can see two grou fdj Riders and he can see Anthony Tois as well so I mean there you go you’ve got three Frenchmen and a solitary uh Norwegian there they are your front Riders here Norway we haven’t had a Norwegian win since Alexander kristo here but I’m not sure it’s going to happen today here 103.5 km to go here 1 minute and 46 seconds Uno X they would love to take a stage win they haven’t quite done that right now uh abrahamson this is his second ever Grand Tour and his second tour to France as well never ridden the jro or the Welter but uh Anthony Tois this is his eighth ground tour his seventh tour to France and seventh time of asking he got his first stage win so good win by him this is a victory that could Define his whole career the 30-year-old uh from buen I think that’s buen in Paris now and he has of course won six other victories in his career also finished second in um on the podium in Milan Sano but uh yeah we’re seeing number 187 Frank vandenbrook the man who finished second on the very first stage of this year’s Toral France one of the youngsters from the DSM team and of course also the man who won the Tour of turkey earlier in the year so uh DSM absolutely dominated that race not quite having that same domination here the toal France but certainly that first stage win is going to ride them High all the way to nice who knows if they’re going to be involved in more Breakaway stage wins ran by taking it very easy yesterday so uh yeah we’ll wait and see if he can get something the youngster here but it looks like he’s on bottle duty today so bottle Duty for him and uh a lot can still happen on today’s stage is it going to be a stage win for aana again is it going to be one of these teams or one of these guys out the front as well and um yeah great have so many people here in the chat and yeah we’re just discussing that those Stolen Bikes in the comments as well 50,000 worth of bike stolen from Total energies that is quite alarming to say the least so uh yeah um are we’re going to see bam gay take a third stage win is yasper philipson going to be able to do something here as well today uh he would dearly love to take another stage win but the teams that look quite confident right now is marvar and alend conic they’re the ones leading the charge in the Breakaway and we have of course got one more cized climb coming up as well so one more categorized climb but we have got the intermediate Sprint coming up before that so the intermediate Sprint coming up in about 8 point well 8 kilm time so this is going to give us an indication of who has some good legs here so uh um yeah this could be interesting to say the least what is going to happen in the stage with the sprinters it’s been kind of a lottery for who’s being the strongest Sprinter and yeah yesper philipson certainly does look like he’s back to business now he just needs that perfect lead out not get boxed in but that is very easy uh to happen on a Sprint so uh a first week you will look to forget also having that relegation after boxing in W vard but uh yeah and also him getting relegated on that stage cost him a whole bucket load of points so uh yeah unfortunate for him in terms of bam gay he still has that lead but three dnfs or three Riders leaving the to France today already Fabi Yaks bil BAU and Mikel meru so three names that are quite prominent in the peleton but we’re just about to dip under the 100 kilm to go as well the pelaton have just loosened their grip on well the leash on the Breakaway a bit here cuz it’s gone up to 2 minutes and 2 seconds now 2 minutes and 2 seconds it was about 20 seconds lower a few moments ago but uh yeah uh 2 minutes that is a not a Long Leash for 100 kilm to go we know the the cycling science or the cycling pseudo science of one minute per 10 kilometers to stay away but yeah Fabio yakobson uh leaving the tour to France unfortunately his first grand tour with his new team well not his first his first tour to France with the new team and it ends in sadness unfortunately so bit of a shame there a bit of a shame H we’ll wait and see what happens later on but Bill b certainly sad about leaving as well the man who finished in top 10 last year in the tour so anything can happen uh still and anyone can leave the Toral France as well that is the big worry for anyone of us so uh yeah yoris Bing go of course winning an incredible stage Victory yesterday that was one incredible comeback not just to get to the race as we know but also to be there to fight back when tacha distanced him and yeah is tacha cracking that’s kind of yeah the worry maybe within the UA emit ranks but they have of course got a very very strong team here great to have so many people here in the chat let us know where you’re watching from as well let us know who you think is going to win the stage in that washing machine worth of riders that we have in the Sprint and if you are new here of course we have our little brother channel the cycling Dane action Channel and we only need 140 subscribers and that to get to a th000 so uh please subscribe to that and I’ll share the B my rest day video that a few of you liked I’ll also uh upload another rest day video on that channel um with DSM okay he’s no longer in the race Fabio Jacobson but he was in that video so yeah right now we’re seeing Mal madas Quinton pase and well Jonas abrahamson and the third Frenchman in that group Anthony Tois all towards the front the only writer there who’s tasted incredible palmaris success in this year’s toal France getting that one win is of course Antony toi playing his cards very well in that gravel stage of course he didn’t steal the headlines because tacha yoris wio and renol were moving as well behind him so that took the headlines and took the shine away from his victory but it was a very very good victory by the Frenchmen and uh yeah but 97.8 km to go we’re getting ever closer to that intermediate Sprint who’s going to be taking that that remains to be seen I think yis abrahamson the man who has already worn that green jersey outright this year he will look to see if he can climb back up into the well top three cuz he’s currently sitting in fourth place but Anthony Tois he’s sitting third and he’s with him in this Breakaway so maybe we’ll see a bit of a Sprint here for this we’ve got in in 4 kmers time so four under four km time even and uh this could be a bit exciting to say the least between the two of them the number three and number four in the green jersey not troubling philipsson and Bam gay really they’re not really worried about these two because neither of them are pure sprinters Antony toiz how would you classify him as a rider a fast classic Rider a a more resilient Sprinter perhaps not really with the biggest um well not the biggest Sprint but very resilient and being able to be there when other sprinters are not there and then uh yeah that’s probably how I would say he he would be and on this day as well in 1975 was the day that uh Eddie Merks was punched by a spectator hm remember that I certainly don’t but I do remember reading about it and seeing the footage and of course we have the video with Eddie MKS here on the channel as well so yeah uh 1 minute and 52 seconds here 1 minute and 51 seconds so it has come down about 10 seconds there we’re getting very very close now to the intermediate Sprint who’s going to win that anyone’s gay well I think Anthony Tois is going to pick up the top points here and perhaps we’re going to see uh abrahamson just falling one step below great to have Zara here as well great to have a few of our channel members as well and we’ll wait and see what happens here on the first real well energetic Point potentially for the Pelon and the Breakaway in terms of competing for those green jersey points but mistar are setting their stall out here mistar really gavri is nowhere are you really putting all this energy into an intermediate Sprint where you’re not even in the top four of this green jersey bit strange here bit strange we’ll wait and see what they can do uh mistar I would say to mistar say save your save your resource for later in the stage where you could be in the mix for a stage win but they’ve decided no we’re going to go all out here we don’t care about uh saving our our bullets for later intermediate Sprint getting the minor positions means more to us than actually getting a stage win that’s what they’re saying what is it they say Don’t Judge Me by my words Judge Me by my actions and here we’re judging them by their actions why are they helping alers in here in the lead out I could understand where is in is as well inter M are not helping in this um Chase back or of the Breakaway but the Breakaway 94.8 km here they pocket out jersey wearer weara not leader crucially as we know Tache is the man where well leading that competition but we are what 1 kilometer away from that Sprint now so Anthony Tois riding second wheel here 20 points up for grabs 17 as well and 15 for number three in this but yeah we’ve got three Frenchmen and one lone Norwegian here Jonas abrahamson has well and truly elevated himself in the sport of cycling to many of us um yeah of course he did win the Brussels Cycling Classic as well earlier this year he was up there in the dwarf St flandrin so he certainly has had a busy spring campaign but yeah he’s continued that into the total France he just wants to be in the poka Jersey uh but we’re inside the last 500 met here of the immediate Sprint are these two number three and four in the competition are they going to be fighting it out for that 20 points here anony toes is he interested here are we going to see a bit of movement here the group fdj Riders going to do anything here but right now it’s not looking like anyone’s moving we’re inside the last 300 meters now intermediate Sprint anony toes is he just going to take it have they made a true steal here that tou shees takes the 20 points here and then he will not contest the poka Jersey points but we’re getting ever closer here to the intermediate Sprint they can see it yis abrahamson is looking like he’s just winding up there no nothing’s happening H that was a let down Antony Tois takes the 20 points 17 go to Abramson here so yeah that was a bit of a let down over a Sprint there was no Sprint so yeah but uh I think there’s been a a deal done between the two between between total and Uno X there so if I can take all the the the points on the mountains then you can have the intermediate Sprint but right now 93.2 km still to go here into mé they are appearing at the front now so the green jersey he’s sitting in a great position fifth wheel behind all his teammates or four of his teammates Here and Now yasper Philipson’s on his wheel is he going to be able to do something here yasper philipsson and benam gay look like they’re going to be tussling it out here for the minor positions so um yeah every Point counts in this green Jersey especially for yasper philipson after that relegation but they are opening their pressure here 500 met to go here for the intermediate Sprint interm still have two more riders in front on bie and the pace is very high now the only Rider to follow these two on this train is Brian Kar bam gay riding third wheel now there’s 13 points up for grabis and then 11 points for the guy who finished behind the guy who crosses first but yeah bie has one more lead out man here Gasper philipson has decided no lead out man for him he thinks he can beat b in a one-on-one oh naughty naughty there by the lead out man but bie takes the 13 points there 13 points there but uh yeah that was a bit of naughty Behavior there by the inter maré Rider there so uh naughty naughty you have to say uh but yeah points points have been divided out bie he takes the 13 points there 11 go to yasper so yeah bie just extends his lead his virtual lead here by two points over yasper Phillipson and they do a fist bump as well just to show the camaraderie between the two of them I think uh I think they’re fine I think they’re fine um yeah but that was uh that was a bit of a yeah IG by or bit of on Sportsman from his teammate but yeah R Costa here getting a bike change here 91.7 km still to go 1 minute and 30 seconds here for the Pelon 1 minute and 30 seconds and uh the Breakaway they are on numbered well borrowed time here they are not going to be holding all the way to the Finish I can assure you that I think most of us feel the same as well but yeah great to have uh many of you voting as well it uh cofed this well many of you not voting for cofis or gr actually the team you think been the most disappointing so far has been mistar so mistar not getting a lot of love from you guys needless B and Victorious of course but mistar get did get that second place and uh they they had that great opportunity on the gravel stage they had Alex aramburo in there but he couldn’t finish it off I think he underestimated um yeah I think he underestimated Anthony to a bit but bie he was asked at the beginning of the stage and let’s hear what he said uh he said they’re not going to control the race they’re not going to yeah they’re not going to control the race that’s what they said I think that’s fine um it’s quite risky but uh I mean we’ll wait and see it’s interesting that they’re not willing to commit to the chase here inter uh just one guy one one solitary guy you don’t need to go completely crazy but yeah um we’re seeing grj still working well at the front with Valentin madis and Quinton Pas Anthony Tois as well and then the last Rider of course is the Norwegian uh you want to hamson wearing the polot Jersey on behalf of TB gacha so um are we going to see grou fdj win a breakaway stage it looks very unlikely 90 km to go 1 minute and 40 seconds that seems very unlikely let’s be honest but benum uh so far so good taking two points extra of a lead on his arch rival for this green jersey yasper Philips and this could come down to the wire of course we’re not finishing and CH so um yeah they will have to think a bit more about this are we’re going to see any of them go in the mountains breakaways um we’ll wait and see here Anything Can Happen really anything can happen um yeah we are still we’re seeing silv dilia commit to the front here and we’re seeing marar as well commit a few Riders I think that’s Nelson Ola Cav is riding fourth wheel here so that’s quite strange give not really doing anything to be honest um other than that second place where Beanie won his first stage but a confirmation there 20 points goes to Anthony toris uh philipsson actually gets 10 points so they got the wrong graphic so it was wrong the graphic that they flashed up so we’ll get you uh uh virtual standing for the green jersey as well what that does um oh okay so it was they got it wrong the 13 points were taken away by someone else so bie only got one point there so one point gain there so he’s on 200 and uh 278 so unfortunately that the organizer getting it a bit wrong they’re human as well I guess but uh we’ll I’ll get you the virtual standing so we can just see that in front of our very eyes and are we going to see a rugged Sprint between the two who we’ll wait and see but there is the virtual green jersey classification that we said Anon toes and um Jonas abrahamson of course up there in the Breakaway and they took the two maximum points so uh good hold for them in terms of that green jersey if they’re actually even thinking about that Jersey it seems like a huge ask at this point so uh yeah we’ll wait and see but it certainly is an exciting battle this green jersey all the way to the end we haven’t really had too many exciting green jerseys in the past Peters Gan of course ruining that a bit with his dominance um but uh yeah when’s the last time we had a real nail-biting competition of course the 2017 Edition was a bit annoying because Marcel K left the race uh Peter scan as well not in that race would have been a great one with Marcle k Mark Cavendish and peteran all going for that Jersey but yeah bit of a shame right now 86.9 km and we’re just seeing the back end of the Pelon here EF education easy post also a team that probably would have wanted more uh Steven Biser not winning a stage so far is he thinking about the stage um in Ni potentially or is he going to go in a breakaway or has he just written off this uh Tour of France completely they’ve tried a few times with Marian ven we saw yesterday as well they tried with Ben hey and Richard caras maybe Ben hey could have been in contention for a stage win if the break was let off the leash but that didn’t really happen because yeah the other teams they didn’t want it well UAE brought it back so and then tacha attacked and passed everyone and then Yas brought him back and took the win in a Sprint so but fedorov uh and yonas rard I think think these two guys are going to be struggling a bit today they’ve just passed the green jersey uh Sprint there so yeah we’ll wait and see 1 minute and 36 seconds 1 minute and 37 seconds the lead has definitely come down about 30 seconds have been wiped off off it here so uh yeah I’ll we going to see them take another chunk out of them before we see the next categorize climb the final cat climb a c full climb and are we going to see abrahamson adding another point to his uh po Jersey standing well I’ll just check the standings as well in terms of that competition right now as it stands of course Tad Pacha is leading that so uh is he going to take his third ever polka do Jersey in his career at the tour to France not even yeah that would be quite incredible of course he’s not really close to the record of Richard Von who won seven times but uh yeah one point um did he take the first one as well but uh tacha has 36 points right now and uh on the first I’ll just double check I’m not sure who won the first categorized uh point if it was yanis abrahamson he would be one point away from being level with tatcha but uh yeah right now we still seeing that uh quartet out in front Three French Riders and that one Norwegian there just making their way down this decline here or descent and uh yeah sad news and anyone just joining as well no Mikel mker anymore no PE bbau and no Fabio yakobson those three Riders have all decided well they’ve left the toour front so unfortunately none of them will be at the finish today so yeah big loss to their teams as well and uh all we’re going to see is a stage Victory from any of those teams today I think not I think not interestingly as well I think uh on was this stage 10 we saw John Degen finishing inside top 10 of course he’s part of DSM and uh yeah that maybe that was a hint of what was to come in a way and yeah big shame there anyway abrahamson what is he thinking here he’s he’s being very very aggressive in this year’s tal France and has already been in the break on four stages the most of any Rider maybe he’s thinking of that super competitivity award that is chosen for the most aggressive Rider every year and that would get him a spot on the podium in N I almost said Paris but uh yeah it’s that slow part of the day now where we’re just waiting for we’re waiting for the pelan to get ever closer to that Sprint and then we’ll see the big sprinters Juke it out here so uh yeah it could be a real real hectic Sprint today I’ll get you the profile as well for the Finish because uh we can just talk about that while nothing’s really happening the the the states well the the dynamic on the road is very static in terms of the racing situation um but yeah we are of course making our way towards the Pines this was actually allocated as a hilly stage so uh yeah classifying this as a hilly stage do you think yeah well maybe respect well um relative to some of the other stages you could say that this is a hilly stage but you couldn’t really put this in the odens classics uh and call it hilly but Alps andik they are the ones at the front here pushing the pace on with saner the former Dutch well not Dutch Swiss National Champion former Podium finisher at parro Bay and they’re trying to just get this Breakaway back I think and I mean if they do bring them back are they just going to be carrying on at the front here but uh yeah we wait and see what’s going to happen I just got you the wrong graphic we were going to talk about the last 5 kmers of the stage and uh what technicalities that is going to bring to the Riders some of the teams might be a bit worried about this uh it seems like quite number of the the Sprint finishes have been quite technical for their lead out trains here or teams well teams trains whatever uh same thing but yeah you can see it there so you can see right before 5 km to go they have a sharp right hand turn to tackle then it’s about a kilometer of not completely straight road but a slight change in Direction with about 4.4 km and then after 4 km to go then they have a very sharp left-hander and that could be quite very very nervous times there coming into that there’s some narrowing of the road as well around 3 km to go and then there’s two roundabouts as well around the 2 km Mark and that is going to be potentially a pinch point for the Riders then they come over a bridge to cross the river uh and then there’s another roundabout for them so three roundabouts almost within the last two kilometers and then it’s a fairly straight final kilometer for the sprinting team so there’s going to be a few nervous times there for them to just be tackling the roads there uh or getting around the road Furniture but I think they should all be fine I think it will be one where the sprinters teams will be quite comfortable to say the least but um yeah anything can happen in the Sprint a crash here or there completely throws the motion of the Sprints out the window and then it becomes a bit of a a war zone uh to say the least so uh yeah what are we going here as well v v go has got carbon ribs six weeks ago H yeah he’s absolutely flying uh what a recovery that is 80.9 KM 1 minute and 23 seconds here and anything can really happen on today’s stage who’s going to win it anyone’s bet to be honest it could be another Binum gay Victory it could be yeah uh anyone really uh JT wants a donut survey at is now as well we’ll do a donut survey um but 80.6 km 1 minute and 22 seconds here it’s yeah like we said it’s a fairly stagnant uh situation on the road it’s still coming down though so the break are losing Time 1 minute and 22 seconds remember we had it at over 2 minutes so over 2 minutes uh and it looks like we could potentially get them brought back not shortly but uh very slowly they’re just losing 10 seconds here losing 5 Seconds there and that is all down to the work that’s being done by alsson at the front anony to already having tasted that high of that uh stage win that was a very very welcome win for the total energes team wow incredible result who thought they would win a stage I certainly didn’t so they well and truly showed me up and uh yeah anything can really happen here but 79.9 km 1 minute and 21 seconds here who’s going to win who’s going to be the last man standing that’s probably a better poll that we could do as well so uh yeah great to have so many people here on this somewhat monotonous St here and uh it is one for the sprinters little Tre of course uh they have yasper sturing but no Jon Milan he wasn’t selected for the team of course being at the J Tire and no mes P anymore of course he left after the man mes Pon crashing uh we’re seeing Simon Yates here towards the back he’s not really having a great Tour of France the man who finished fourth last year I would love to to see him try and go for a pocket at Jersey maybe maybe on stage 14 we’re going to see him up towards the break uh but uh yeah I mean don’t hold your breath maybe he is still thinking about a GC position we’re getting a message here as well um lot of Destiny says that there might be some attacks in the finale when the Breakaway will be caught so they’re already they’re already looking ahead to a a stage race situation where the break is gone so I think the break might get that final categorized climb that we have on screen I think that is well and truly within their realm of getting that but that’s yeah they they top that out in about 10 11 km but that is starts in 8 km time and it’s only a moderate 4.8% so anyone can cycle up that and uh if you’re saying you can’t then you are lying to yourself even my mom could cycle up that even Jack could cycle up that who’s a very heavy track Sprinter um yeah we might cycle at different Paces but we would all get up there in are they going to be able to do something here are they going to be controlling things at the front we will wait and see if they do something here if they want to push the pressure on but uh yeah 1 minute and 15 seconds so that time is just absolutely slipping through their hands now for the Breakaway like sand so it’s starting to look like it’s not going to be that day at all it’s the pendulum has swung in favor of the the peleton right now of course if you are in a breakaway you only have so much power that you can invest and many of these Riders also trying to conserve power uh if there if it was to come down to a stage win and they would Juke it out but I don’t think that’s going to be happening here um yeah anything can happen in today’s stage and we we could do a poll actually who you think’s going to win the Tour of France cuz now I think it’s swapped a bit so four of you have voted 400 of you have voted and uh yeah remember to check out the rest day as well with bam gay there’s another rest day video coming out uh potentially tomorrow so check that out uh we’re trying to get that channel to 1,000 subscribers we’re only missing 150 I know so many of you have subscribed already so I just want to thank you all for that as well but it is our third Channel our third Channel yes three channels is it too much sometimes it feels like it but 77.4 km here 1 minute and 7 seconds it’s just disappearing now this Gap now it’s absolutely evaporating evaporating like a pond in the middle of the Sahara Desert and unfortunately that I can’t think of any analogy to connect Three French Riders and a Norwegian to the Saharan Desert so that went on a bit of a wild goose chase who do you think is going to win the Tour now has your perception of the tour shifted a bit who will win the Tour def France vle Pacha or can Remco or rogl upset the apple cart um rco or R glit anything can happen still we aren’t in Ni yet so even in Ni well we’re not even starting in Ni we’re starting in Monaco so yeah but 1 minute and 2 seconds here 1 minute and 1 seconds it’s already quite close to dipping under uh dipping under that one minute advantage that they had so these Riders are going to be very nervous now at the front I think yeah even getting to that cat 4 climb now is going to be a bit of an achievement for them so anything can happen in the stage today and we wait to see if anyone’s going to try and challenge the status quo um Alik certainly are very bullish about their chances here but there is that slight uphill towards the finish so uh a few lumps or uncategorized climbs that could catch some Riders out and a few technical Corners that we talked about as well so many people could get caught out today so uh yeah one minute is gone now so it’s 59 seconds now 59 seconds we’re seeing the Spanish National Champion here Alex aramburu of course didn’t get that stage win on Stage Nine would have loved to have recorded that stage win but alas it didn’t quite happen 76 km to go 59 seconds 59 seconds that is it that is it to this stage and then it’s another stage win for the sprinters we assume 57 seconds it’s coming down oh I’m I’m getting a bit nervous for the Breakaway if they even going to stay away now cuz uh this could be a bit spicy to say the least um who’s going to win the stage that remains to be seen But Macho manipul up there towards the front um are we going to see uh REM well he doing anything um later on maybe on some of the other stages in the third week but uh yeah right now his teammate silan Dila is the one pushing on we can see o losano there as well so we’re getting an indication of the teams that are willing to commit here and if I was interm I would be a bit annoyed at uh yeah at interm that they’re not pulling here inmay have the green jersey they have the man who’s won two stages as well so they should be doing some pulling here critical M as well asking about the crash early on I didn’t actually see the crash but the result of it is that Fabio yakobson is no longer here I don’t know if B B was caught up in it as well maybe that’s why he decided to leave or was forced to leave 74.8 km to go here it’s just losing a bit more of their advantage there the breakway out in front down to 53 seconds here 53 seconds is the margin now so yeah this is getting a bit too close for comfort for them I don’t think they’re going to be too bothered about this to say the least they’re doing their best to keep it out towards the front but uh yeah it’s looking like the days are well they’re on very borrowed time here to Breakaway now they have lost over a minute in the last few kilometers we’re seeing AO towards the back here he is of course dropped down in the GC and Tom pitock of course no no and you see the man who is taking up his chances of maybe winning the Toral France in the future but I don’t see that happening on right now to be honest um yeah you guys still support a TI batcha victory of course he still is leading the Toral France by a small buffer here so yeah I know some people were talking about the momentum shifting but I mean Ty patcha didn’t actually lose anything to rewards y his wi go he took the the bonus seconds so yeah I don’t really agree with that that the the moment has shifted completely okay he didn’t take the stage win but he didn’t lose any sizable time so I think it was a bit too uh early to call that but abrahamson leaving them down
