Craziest Water Park in the World! NEW Meryal Waterpark Qatar [Slide POVs]

Take a ride on the water slides at Meryal Waterpark in Lusail near Doha, Qatar! Meryal Waterpark is by far the craziest water park we have ever visited. Due to the importance of oil rooted in the Qatari culture, the entire park features an elaborate oil theme – you can find oil pumpjacks, crashed oil trucks and other theming elements scattered around the entire park. Except for the color scheme, the slides themselves are not heavily themed whereas the queue lines and stairways definetely are. Meryal’s anchor attraction however is the ICON TOWER which is located on an artificial peninsula roughly 1,000ft away from the main park. Being a whopping 85 m or 279ft tall, the ICON TOWER is by far the tallest water slide complex in the world. The two tallest rides have a height difference of almost 77 m (250ft) which is crazy! The complex also features world’s tallest two funnel slides as well as the two world’s tallest water coaster slides. The land section of the park also features some roller coasters which we could not try as they were not open yet. Unfortunately, the Wildcats Well water coaster was also closed during our visit. We still loved the park though!
