Hey Everyone,

In this video, I share the first part of my awesome motorcycle trip to Northumberland with my good friend Lillie. We are both passionate bikers and we decided to have a girls biking holiday in this beautiful area of England.

We started our journey from Bolton and rode to the Northumberland, which is one of the UK’s best kept biking secret locations. We found a lovely place to stay, set up our base and then went for a ride to explore the stunning scenery and roads.

We had a lot of fun and excitement on our bikes, and we also enjoyed the views and the fresh air.

This was a great start to our motorcycle adventure and we couldn’t wait to see more of Northumberland.

If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and leave a comment below. I’d love to hear from you. Have you ever been to Northumberland? What are your favourite motorcycle routes there? Do you have any tips or recommendations for bikers who want to visit this area?

Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel and hit the bell icon to get notified of my new videos. I post videos every week about motorcycle riding, bike kit, and other related topics.

Thanks for watching and we’ll see you in the next video!

hi everybody it’s your name Kate and welcome to part oh I can’t I can’t do it with these clubs on welcome to part three of M and Lily’s North umberland 250 Adventure so if you’re interested to see the incredible sights and ride along with us on the incredible roads then keep watching because that is what’s to come [Music] so everybody we got up this morning we had another beautiful breakfast I went a bit wild this morning and I went for pancakes and then I wonder why I can’t B my pants up you know but I wor my extra roomy around the waist bullet jeans so I’m all good this holiday so we left the Haven not too long ago and the Haven car park or like patch of gravel is on quite a steep hill I don’t think the camera that I’m about to show you now like the footage I don’t think it’ll pick it up just quite how steep it is but me and Lily had some fun getting off there and then we headed to the Shell garage we topped up so we are ready to go now I filled up at 348 mil on the odometer and I think I last put fuel in at I want to say 210 mil but it was showing on the Range that I had 60 M remaining on the Range so I don’t think that’s too bad but yeah so the plan was to do the North umberland 250 now we’ve done a fair bit of it Lily has done it on her borrowed super adventure s and I have done it on a borrowed Ninja 1000 SX performance Tor which I borrowed from KD motorcycles in aington so on day one we headed up the m6 to car we took the a69 and did a few roads around North umberland which were part of the North umberland 250 route then yesterday we went around the coastal bit of the northin 250 which involved heading up to Ho the island we spent some time there we went to Linda’s Farm Castle we rode along the carway which is really nice and then we made our way back to rockbury which is where the Haven is uh the B when we headed back back we kind of went across and we went to jeeda which is actually the Scottish part of the North umoon 250 route you do kind of just cross over into the border and we came back that way through oturn and stuff like that and we came back basically this way that we’re going now is the way we came back W look at all the bikes we got a national coming up booya so day three is a day of completing that whole Loop so now we just hit key key the forest I want to say and this this is where the incredible views start let me tell tell you breathtaken look at these roads they are something else oh look at this view this view in the moment is to die for not literally not CH it oh these views are gorgeous it’s quite chilly today it’s just gone up to 10° but it was 6° this morning and it was 2° when we woke up but of course we’ve lost an hour today because it’s uh Easter Sunday wow look at this that’s gorgeous W beautiful oh I knew exactly what you were doing with a sorry we got to get a picture of the Scotland side and then I think yeah go over there huh and then maybe up on that side to get yeah cuz like look it’s just looks so different we just made it to the Scottish border and there are so many bikers but this place is stunning like just views for days views that way that’s Scotland views back of that way of the beautiful North umberland this is a Prime riding rotation well guys and girls we just stopped at the Scottish border just to look at this beautiful view on that side we had the gorgeous views of North umberland this side the gorgeous views of Scotland because the North umberland 250 does take you in to Scotland for a little bit but just look at those views I love how you can see the cloud fing shadows and constantly moving it’s just beautiful right we’re about to carry on with our mission let’s carry on let’s go girl no it’s the pretty bits what it’s the pretty bits the pretty bits I thought that was just you what I thought that was just you I’m So Smooth my pickup lines will work on you one day lily I’m sure I’m sure of it sorry Mike oh I love a good CH shift who doesn’t right we’re back on it oh look oh look she said the pretty bit but the roads are pretty pretty too the roads are pretty pretty too wow wow wow wow wow yeah loads of bikes out today W it would be nice if these cars were in the way but it is what it is it is what it is look at that wow the cows The Fluffy cows Highland cattle wow I Len [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] of them is you not get a big mileage on them when you got about 100 miles these are excellent I did the whole trip from London to Bolton on one tank did you yeah yeah they have like a 200 something mile range they’re made for like touring and eventually they have quite Hefty tanks on them yeah yeah that’s 23 L tank and this is 19 so cool take care guys so which way are we going at the top straight on that The Way We Were yeah okay I would just wave you past them [Music] [Music] right I’ve got up let pull here it’s grvy as heck she got it she’s a badass let’s go let’s go so we just stopped off at a beautiful Viewpoint over ke K the forest I want to say so nice literally just warms the soul you know and we had a decision to make we can go one or two ways so we could have gone the official North B in 250 route or we could have gone a different route which looks equal it is amazing but actually shaves off for 30 minutes and we decided to go for the official route cuz why not we’re here we might as well uh we’re not shy putting you know miles on our bodies no that sounded terrible we’re not shy of putting miles on a bike we’ll ride for the whole day and not complain really wow that’s cute as heck second gear goodness W it round we love it oh what a sight and that is a great side I love the sound of this Kawasaki something else wow so easy to get distracted with the views the views are just beautiful oh the views the views the views the views cattle grid oh spin it round that’s fourth gear fourth gear guys and it just deals with it all the Kawasaki deals with anything throughout it oh my gosh look at this stop it just stop it this is gorgeous oh look amazing oh man wow wow wow wow nice charm zo zo oh wow that was fun these roads are practically dead and we get stop behind a Lear a driver you can’t right it can you Lily’s picking them off while I’m fannying around with my heated grips there we go they’re on green now got bikers coming up I’ll wait till the bikers have gone by don’t want to cut anyone’s nose off that was a good opportunity to go go go England we’re back in North umberland we’re back baby W yeah boy you do have to be particularly careful on these roads because you get so into it and then there’s just a big patch of gravel is needed we’re turning we’re heading to Bellingham Bellingham not Bellingham Bellingham that is the official route Belling C okay Bellingham we’ve reached it so that ladies and gentlemen was part well was the official North umland 2 route it was a bit longer than the sh cut we could have taken through I want to say Newcastle or Newcastle town but we we did it oh another body of water that looks stunning wow go for it girl and we’re over oh turnning hayen Bridge bird get out of the way oh I love it love it what a little gimping well we know that the Kawasaki has good breaks that’s for sure krien’s wall oh look at this oh God yeah Bo heading to car L on the a69 wonderful oh that’s pretty well I think that means we pretty much done the North umand 250 I think the only thing that we actually missed out was blunch slums at the beginning and that’s because we kind of cut across a different area of road but I think we actually only maybe missed out about 6 Mile of it or summer so it’s not too bad I’m not one of these anal anars that have got to you know stick to it to a te know it’s like cutting out about 6 miles just to make life a bit easier but also still having mid roads is an issue then that’s not kind of problem that I concern myself with w well guys we’ve just stopped off at tbay for what did we have Ro a roast we had a roast dinner and it was yeah it was absolutely amazing and then we had cake and coffee cuz we’re decadent and also really hungry yeah really really hungry um so we’ve got the m6 now to get home so you guys don’t want to see that no one wants to see that nobody needs that in the life so we’re going to round it off now I hope you guys have really enjoyed this three parter of me and Lily going to North umland doing the North umland 250 where should we go next let us know in the comments below we should be interesting we’re ready we’re ready we’re primed and ready well guys if you like what 1. Great videos over three parts, I really enjoyed them, you make a good double act. I agree Kate, you following Lillie makes the experience so much better for us viewers. I think you should push on next time into the Scottish Borders as we have some great bike routes with fast twisties. But basically anywhere where the riding is good ATB Big Dave Scotland

    2. OMG, after seening all this beautiful Northumberland countryside with its fantastic rides, and being close to an almighty orgasm, because of it all… PANG you pull the plug and say goodbye. Talk about cruelty to men, this was almost as good as death!
I said in my comments after the last episode, i'm looking forward to Parts 4, 5, 6 & 7, but now I gotta go to bed frustrated, for the next don't know how long. At least I now know what it must be like for women when he prematurely pulls the plug and goes to sleep!
I adore your longer rides away from home (as of course everything else you do), and am glad I found this channel. UNK is definately one of my top 3 UK Bike channels…, so I forgive you for "mistreating me"😏 and look forward to your next offering here. S.

    3. Thank you for posting this series! I have made plans to do this trip myself for a couple of days quiet time later this year, weather permitting. The Haven looks super nice as a base.

    4. Did a lot of these roads 10+ years ago. We also based ourselves out of Rothbury. Lovely roads and lovely people. Would love to do another trip up there, but maybe not on a GSXR600 K7 again!

      Excellent videos as always Kate.

    5. Really enjoying your videos. That Kawasaki ninja 1000 sx looks like an awesome machine, sounds great and I personally love the look, Japanese reliability. Might get one.

    6. I wonder if you know of Sarah Lezito . It might not be your idea of skill but You should see her handle a bike . She is amazing and a trip to France to meet her would make great content

    7. 8. Love Northumberland and this was one of your best trips yet and still plenty to go at. The coast is amazing.
The Scottish Lowlands are a treat themselves.
I run from Sheffield up to Jedburgh sometimes, just further on from where you turned.
breakfast at "Simply Scottish" .. just remember not to ask for a "Full English".

    9. Nice riding weather and scenery. Were you taking the last of it on the M6 to get home in a timely manner or is there no side route worth the time? I'm totally unfamiliar with the area.
