Wales Airshow 2024 Saturday event with the RAF Red Arrows.

[Music] oh that [Music] get heav step under the [Music] oh [Music] hi so we’re here from mid and West Wales fire service and we are raising money for the firefighters charity uh the charity supports firefighters and their families uh we’re cycling 250 mi in full fire kit uh around around the principal fire stations of mid and West so we’ve got Halford West Land and morron so cycling around them all on good who me no no but in today’s mood of Celebration we also celebrate with hope the future the contributions of our armed forces are not just a thing of the past but a promise for tomorrow as we Face new challenges on the global stage we are confident in the knowledge that our armed forces are prepared and Resolute their unwavering dedication assures us that our future as a nation is secure in return we strive to create a society that values and supports its Cadets active armed forces and Veterans for respect and gratitude is universal ensuring that those who serve our nation feel the nation’s support in everything they do but simply let us ensure that they have the resources they need the respect they deserve and the recognition that they have earned to all our service members past and present I and we salute you your bravery and dedic ation embody the very best of our nation thank you for your service and may we always strive to be worthy of your sacrifice thank you to y v [Applause] [Music] [Music] years [Music] [Music] [Music] here at the world a for everybody to same Tor torpedo I should say and by wild our side and the historic brist Pegasus 9 cylinder radial supercharged engine on the front end giving 750 Hing far out into the oceans and a challenging challenging environment very much so uh offer operating in awful weathers and of course what you got to bear in mind about being a Navy pilot is where you take off from it might be your Airfield being a chunk of metal going through the ocean uh but it’s uh rarely ever in the same position when you want to get back so uh it can be a dating task relocating your paren ship at the same time operating at the time for six locations around the UK those locations having two of the air those locations having two of the air back in toing a stable holl to start the display proper Flor the hover able to bring in a bitos as well see large very capable very robust and definitely helicopter buil for R surface Serv and in the search rescu Ro of course being equipped with a hydy operated main rescue as well in addition to electrically operated Mery rescue uh provision providing additional medical equipment such as they all have to be trained in the AR rest as well I remember gave see this myself off the back of a fast Patrol launch and just bobbing around in the ocean until the F yellow bird came and out of the awareness between aircraft and the h a lot of modern aircraft the there start we is be roll go on br know down the away I the [Music]
