I have a £500 c2w voucher. I can use Halfords, Treds, a few local shops.

I have narrowed down my options between

    https://www.tiso.com/bihyl4al0402/specialized-sirrus-2-0-step-through-2024-black

I couldn’t find many other options my size (5’9’’/6’) below the £500 mark.

I am looking for a durable, lightweight ride requiring relatively little maintenance. I’d use it for commute and leisurely rides around hilly Edinburgh. I have discarded single-speed bikes due to the up-and-downs around here, and my best option seems a lightweight hybrid with no frills.

The boardman seems quite good, has decent reviews online and should have a relatively flexible riding position. The Sirrus is a bit lighter and I could get it from a local shop (I couldn’t find a non-step-through model my size). I lack the knowledge to compare the individual components.

Which one would you suggest? I am also open to other suggestions.
