the national series here at Birmingham looking forward to the racing today the sun’s out at the moment but there’s a bit of a front coming through later I think I might even be able to see it over the shoulder of the cameraman John there uh yeah so we’re we’re live racing in the next couple of minutes um and expecting more of the same uh that we saw yesterday really good work uh by all the Riders a lot on the line in some of the age groups for you know A fifth or a sixth or a 12th or a you know qualifying position for the world champion ship so yeah lots of stories I’m sure from different Riders and different age groups today and uh we will be catching up with some of them throughout the day and you can watch that in the highlights show in a few days time round number 10 of the 2024 Lloyd’s Bank BMX national series heading to turn number one there’s a birthday in this Moto as well it is Bo Morris’s 10th birthday today I believe so very happy birthday to Bo but it is out front with hunt of Vander Malon heading into turn number two Adam Arnold in there in that two spot is he going into that second Corner looking like the bruny massive are picking up the top three spot got to be Sam Dolan heading towards his final turn but he’s under pressure from the 237 Bram heever had a team here his teammate is his birthday today he’s in nearing that six spot heading down the final straight chasing Billy Cheeseman in five but it is Hunter Malon taking the first motor win of the day the two European finalists out on track in race number two that is Frankie Griffin and Oliver Arnold both Riders out from be racing in there as well that is stowman on the 808 plate inside the top three got oan King in there in four on the 667 riding out of Bournemouth BMX club race three Benedict Marco in this one he’s getting busy heading down that second straight looking for a way past birthday boy zavi Fox Cooper He’s leading this one out I’m pretty sure he’s 12 today zavi so a couple of birthdays in in the night 12y old Cruisers it’s zavy leading it out Marco looking for a way round into this final turn can he find the inside not quite it is Jamie to blanch in there inside the top three R it out of MK Here Comes The Bradford bandits in there in five pushing the goport nrt rider to the line that was jet Thompson hanging on to that top four spots more 9 to 12y old Cruisers that looks like Harry swes in there in that two spot riding out of fast signatures chasing down your race leader that is a 212 of Charlie cotton out of nsle BMX Club check out that high low from swes in the final turn going from 2 to one looking like that could be Murphy in there as well it is Finley Murphy on the 881 inside the top three the race win though looking like it might have just being Cotton On the Line 13 14 Cruisers out on track Alfie Andrews is getting busy in turn two riding out of urban a he’s trying to work his way underneath Cooper mccr didn’t quite make it stick so he’s in near Four he’s locked up the inside of Logan young in turn number three loves a corner move does alie’s worked his way to a top three spot it’s mwiti mccr Andrews young one two three and four Newton hinley on track leading out race number six for team a and and over the Titans in there as well that looks like it could be Liam Wilson I think it is Daniel borini’s teammate in there as well just having the move stuck on him by a couple of riders in that last Corner looks like we’ve lost War work in that final turn that was Sim throwing it under going from 6 to five as they bring it down to the line Moto one 365 take kitson leading out race number seven he’s going one and two with the yesterday’s winner little cotti on the cruiser having a good old scrap with uh Robin mat Alonzo as they go down that final straight here comes Robin with a lake charge is going to go from 3 to two cot is going to go through in three next up we are looking at the 15 16y old Cruisers jno harine harine S as stylish as you like in practice not quite sure what the uh what it was into this last turn I don’t know what you call it it was a a young kid thing he was touching his front wheel as he jumped the jump but yeah he’s doing it for the ladies in MK Evolution out front race9 Oakley Hooper leading this one out mix pick race team he’s got Fitz at Coburn in there behind him that looks like uh Zachary TI out of the Jun Club oh huge huge crash Fint and Coburn hit the deck went down very very hard Hooper tier 41 2 three yeah he’s D did crash yesterday Duncan [Music] guys just watch how you go as you come down this uh third straight move across to the inside looks like we have got Shawn Brown leading this one out JT Davies Zack Chapman 123 bradic Davidson in there in four just going to check that vinton’s all right put your hands together for fin Coburn ladies and jent sortman walking away [Applause] ready race race 11 more 50 60 Cruisers into the turn that’s going to be Thomas mil moto 1 365 leading this one out Jake har has been on fire all weekend long riding out of Tigo race team is in there in that two spot SAS in there as well that’s going to be Aiden true picking up the top three spot no logo Racing Academy in there as well leou Barnes Under Pressure there from Lou Kai M BMX hype.com looking for a high low in that final Corner can he make it stick in his M large down to the not long sorry H down to the line it’s going to be Malo hanging on to that Moto win Barnes hanging on to that top four spot 30 39 year old Cruisers May Abott Hayes aladan Jones and brown Martin Smiley Brown in there in threes teammate in there with him Ryan Jones in four look at that for a final turn move that was the 702 of Nathan Abbott throwing it under with a perfectly executed high low he’s going to take that motor win with ag alen hands in two race 13 Jack Hudson out in front we have got J willingston trying to work his way into a top three position battling with Dan pole and Tom Palmer as well all the Heavy Hitters in this one as they head towards that final Corner Palmer in there ining two chasing down H Here Comes purple working his way underneath it’s Moto one on a Sunday morning and you can throw a blanket over the top three race 14 Dylan Dixon Matthew Walsh Andy McCoy Matt swales and Chris Colman oh andang on Andy McCoy is getting a bit tasty coming out the second turn can’t wait to see this one on YouTube on the head angle in and out of the final corner he might even win a moto at this way go on Andy push it to the line with the 917 in there as well of Dylan Dixon he’ll the 932 over Ian SM in the in five as we move on 2 45 to 49 Cruiser Dave Stokes is in there battling away he’s got frasa Watson with him as well and Stewart Little soort the evolved bicycle Motocross riders in this one and Daman me leading it out that’s gra Stark in there as well I think so as they go to the line it’s going to be Wilson me little an Stokes your top four race 17 no Marco Philip those keys if you find keys anywhere please hand them in we will reunite them with their owner and somebody’s lost a set of keys with a red Aladdin lamp on the key ring I don’t know if it’s the same ones but I know Mr Lawrence is desperate to find his truck keys cuz that is an expensive truck so if you find any keys please hand them in thank you right Cody hmer Alexis McCartney Isa young and Isa Hannah Drew in three Molly knce in four that’s Hannah hedges in there as well as we move on to Race 24 being led out by Yesa hempstar Trinity cam in the mix as well think she’s in there in about three at the moment Jamie Elwood Amy Willets El where’s Elsa renel Tod she’s not in that one don’t know what’s going on there Alice Taylor kir Lee doing it for all the vegans out there she’s in there in four love a vegan can’t eat a full one but I do like a vegan Beth and cie just just makes a change from chicken sandwich you know to [Music] mean yeah I to get out more thanks Simon I think what he having a battle as to bring it down to the line with Kim batford out of ice bikes sjn out on track yesterday’s winner I believe now if I’m not mistaken this age group is getting quite tight at the top of the standings I had a quick look on scores this morning and uh as Michelle Rebecca and uh sjn are all up there so that one’s going to be busy later on in the final I reckon it will be a battle later on I’m sure I was waiting for something okay no I’m not I’m no 55 plus Cruiser race number 28 that is Bernie Shale leading this one out in that lovely Red Bull helmet in and out of that final Corner he’s under pressure from Billy stle looked up the inside wasn’t quite close enough he’s going to have to settle for that two spot as he bring it down to the line with David NOS in three Chris madon the mcrock and Brent Featherstone charging into turn at number two in race number 29 we’ve got Steve ke in this one as well in there in five that is Jonathan Charles withth in four and Steve need M team bunnies in there in six but it’s all about Madam pure bites down that final straight going to pick up this Moto win 1729 Cruisers out on track Daniel Wilson Benjamin Vice one and two bent told me not long ago that I’ve been pronouncing his name wrong for years which Vice I think you’ve been getting it right yeah I’ve been getting it wrong yeah so it was me I do apologize Ben he’s out in that two spot he’s going to pick up the second spot in behind Dan Wilson as we move on to birthday boy Charlie Roy he’s 18 today he’d love a moto win to go along with that so he’s uh leaving this one out of the second turn there’s brief pauses in what I’m saying because R keeps lifting his mic up ready to say something and then is just not saying it so I do apologize but it’s Charlie Ro is he going to work his way into a top three finish with yesterday’s winner Alex Brooks picking up that Moto win a race 33 Thompson esselman Brown wallbridge Put mugh and large all on track on S1 in that two spot he’s uh stopped back flipping off of the back of truncks for the weekend he’s uh going to take that second spot down that final streak but he’s putting Portland under a lot of pressure as they head down to the line esselman that was for two in one out whoever two in one out is if you miss that that was a jump off the last roller to the Finish Line they’re uh doing a competition today apparently that whoever gets furthest gets a I think it was 20 quid something like that and a kiss so the put on Instagram so an wants that one that was Ned Penny picking up that Moto win Zack green there in that two spot who’s in three looking like that could be the running mid Rider that is a 393 of John Joe Blundell was flying all day yesterday and he’s looky to make it happen in this Moto as well look at him squeezing up the inside of God into turn number three the 536 in there as well that is Charlie Thorne out of mixed picks headed down the final straight Manchester’s Isaac Tomlinson in near in five and the rer in six he’s going to be ianis chos with Yates out front picking up the Moto win Oliver brial 312 on the plate exitor on the Jersey leading out race number 36 into the final turn Seth gri in there behind him L and jira in three look at Benji Ross Foster looking for a way round jir in that final turn didn’t quite find it the six 71 in there as well that is Jax Bradley out a bath BMX Club in five but Bridal going to pick up that Moto Win race 37 female seveny olds six and unders mixed in as well the Mini Miss missiles are on track let’s have a look who’s leading it out that looks like the 653 all thewis 184 and the 938 that is Matilda hwit flick Bren no in there in that third spot Tia Worthington absolutely on a mission she’s in there in five luchana in six and the 919 that belongs to Kylie Dixon have missed somebody Eevee KN had a corn wall on that 564 as well next up Mabel Pine leading it through Maggie Divine in there Abigail Henning as well where is the exet belongs to Hunter Chambers he was Hunter who took the tumble he’s up and our right though Oscar Hollow said Perry Emerson Tucker my little her hero cuz he’s got some and I haven’t Seth Robinson Felix to one of the Young Manchester Riders we’d love to get that back cuz helmets are expensive and we’ll have a very disappointed Young Manchester Rider who won’t be racing today we can’t get him a helmet George Spencer picking up that motor win headed down to the line under a lot of pressure though from Aston John le that brought it to the strike but it was the rusting up Rider picking up that mot to win Charlie dson on the outside into turn number one but he’s going to make it happen in and out of that corner this is another age group that’s tight at the top of the standings ding out front crucial racing going one and two with Oly bird into that second turn that looks like Blackpool in theing three Hugo Valentine on the 590 plate he’s being chased on by Leo Ingram out of the bruny massive on the 715 plate in and back out of that final turn though for the front two Riders bird chasing ding down the final Street has he got enough left to close the gap I don’t think he’s going to get close enough looks like Seth kachari dropped it headed into turn number one he back up to his feet and finish in his lap though Jack Haynes out front looking good under pressure from Rocco Westwood Rocco’s dad’s not here this weekend he’s uh I think it’s called Mega valan in the Alps somewhere right down a Big Snowy Mountain and he’s under a bit of pressure though as he come down to the line I think that was Jack kitchen moving his way through into a two spot so good luck to comrad this weekend rockos just took third on the line in the 9-year-old’s third Moto race number 52 on track looking like Rex for leading this one out Hendrick H in there in that two spot who is the team a rer got to be o lewisfield bringing on through that top three is the exit turn number two TNT in there as well that’s Oliver Hawker on the 023 the 354 in the mix as well that is Oscar Bay under a lot of pressure though from the Rado jump Club in that final turn that was Zachary Jones looking for a top five finish down the final straight I think he might just ni it as he head to the line orx Ford out front British champ on track Ethan Shaw riding on his home track as well heading into that final turn the 838 in there behind him that is of course Jack belon out of decoy check out the move though from the rider out of the Northeast that was Thomas Giles didn’t quite make it stick though looking like belon got it a little bit wrong as it headed down to the line but hung on to that two spot n 10 year old girls out on track did we miss Ronnie Payne in the 9year olds uh 11s 11s 11s oh it’s wrong age group I thought that said NES that’s my my apologies right we are looking at Grace Hudak and mais Eagan headed down the final straight it is Maisy going to pick up that Moto win with Grace in that two spot tricky trays in three more 10y old girls into that second turn CGR leading this one out I think that’s Holly Richardson going one and two with the five plate out of the Centurion crew that is Arya Rose Lee going in and out of that final turn them two ladies in their front two spots the 617 and Amber tuer inside the top three heading down that final straight Allan’s Factory Super Cross on track finy Monroe on the five plate going one and two with Preston new Marsh po had a cracking day yesterday did Preston he’s there in that two spot at the moment heading into that final Corner that looks like Joseph clayon in there inside sorry Arthur clayden inside the top three the riders in four and five going to be the LCC Rider Teddy Jones and Rex Beasley out a stay strong clar Kent one rer dropped it on the first straight that might have been Harry Taylor he’s back up finishing his lap though it was Harry so he’s going to complete his lap put your hands together at for Harry as he comes past you as Jacob Anderson picks up that Moto win across the line race 58 Ronnie W work in this one out of Hard Knocks by coaching Ted Harvey Luke mowt Carlin Gordon Ernie cotton desaris Ronnie Wood Lucas berghard and Freddy Ray orand all join him on track but it is LCC out front dominating this Moto at the moment the L shark Ronny wood leading in from his teammate Freddy Ray orand in and out of that second Corner that is Blackpool picking up a the top three spot looking like Ted Harvey on the 48 plate he’s got a bit of pressure coming from the 15 into that final turn that’s Carlin Gordon out of the North he’s chasing down that top three spot down the final straight but LCC going to hang on to them front two spots across the line Conor hemp Hill on track Joey Tomkins in this one as well Arlo St in the mix in about four at the moment in and out of that second Corner Ted Malin in this one as well but it is hemp Hill Tomkins Watson 1 2 three sty Under Pressure what a move that is in the final turn that looked like it could have been Peter’s Josh Venter trying to work his way into a top four spot didn’t make it stick St is going to hang on Edward Cordy leads out race number 60 in and out of turn number two heading down this third straight the 24 plate in there with him Neil Grands out of brickton BMX Club the 33 plate in there as well that is Isaac Jones out of smiley fly could look at that for a move from Leo Bradley in that final Corner had a rust in a race and he’s working his way into a top three spot the Smiley fly CL rder coming back at him to the line that one was tight for the top three race 61 Oscar Hall of Manchester in this one Ryder leading the hour the8 is Sebastian hwit he’s got the rider from pekam Lucas toal in there into the 297 trying to get involved that is Isaac MOA of exitor an sas Ray team have got clay South in there as well the 937 that belongs to Joshua Colts out of decoy keep it going Joshua r62 s sweety page Kath car c in this one Sadies out in front Tyler Davenport and Olivia webbing there Hannah Mackey and Lucy Stevenson in and out of that final turn sad under pressure as they come down the straight from paig one of them is going to Ridley aim Bia and Moses Dennis essel as they uh head down to the line next Moto up uh Ronnie pay Ronnie’s birthday is it yes Ronnie pay turning 11 today from everybody at the junp club so happy happy Emma kiss in turn number two she now leads a race headed for that final Corner Warren in there in that two spot then War B MX race team in there as well that is Esme Ward out of Anova heading down that final straight Dakota tuer her best mate is on the front row the GD in the F1 later at Silverstone not that many of you will be uh that bothered Rich certainly isn’t turns his nose up at F1 but she took fourth in that Moto as race number 74 heads towards turn number three that is your British champion Amal Eaton leading this one by country mile out of that final turn the fire plate of Martha cotton in there behind her being chased down by Nora s haded down to the strip s has she got enough time left to the line I don’t think she’s going to get close enough she’ll take that three spot race 75 Bishop Granger Jones Carol C and foret foret crashed yesterday in the final I believe she’s in there in that two spot chasing down your world number six in that final Corner that is of course POS poppy Bishop out of Halo Wheels race team a new Jones out of the jump club we going to round out the top three spots Harry Donald BMX hype.com heading into turn number two also crashed yesterday in this final but he’s leading this Moto at the moment the European number three being chased down by the 24 plate of Ralph Sai at of decoy BX Club Henry pots Brookwood national race team in there in that three spot hunter malan in four it is looking like Charlie Wilcox going to lead out the next Moto in race 77 doing it for team mine and bouth BMX he’s got Ethan krook Martin in there behind him was super hot I think it tried to dried the track out just people riding around it um national champs first first mention um for the inside line this weekend uh yeah good to see more of an event of it yeah it’s the fact that we’ve tried something a little bit different and bring riders in and get them racing on a Friday evening it’s always tough when you try and you know put these events on for the first time but I think as we kind of move along in the a groups get used to the fact that there’s going to be a national sleeve available for him hoping they’re going to get involved you know next year and the year after and the year after that yeah there were some good numbers actually in the younger age groups which is is part of the reason really make more of an event of it and also with those younger Riders you know it being a thing they want to do yeah I think it’s a great idea I think they uh making the national champs an actual event that Riders can enter and um and be a part of rather than it just being the sort of the the championship age groups it gives them a sort of sense of how race days are going to work later on down the line as well especially because some of these guys want to want to sort of take this professional and that sort of thing so it really opens up them Avenues of of how it’s going to look in the future yeah the whole Moto and LC ke thing I think is really important especially for the the Riders looking for that step up or already in Europe and and worlds and so on going into those Championship categories um and there’s plenty of feedback as well I’ve had loads of feedback I’m sure you guys have as well and we’ll feed all that back in and and really make you know make next year even better um yeah uh point of the weekend I think um Sienna and and fre yesterday into the first Corner yeah it was a decent battle wasn’t it you know the fact that the 80s style elbows were being thrown in turn number one and Sienna didn’t back off one bit I actually had a quick chat with her this morning and just said you know that was Mega because that’s the kind of racing that the fans want to see and it also makes M and Lewis’s job really easy to commentate on that kind of stuff so yeah superb job I’d like to see more of it we I just like watching really good battles and if Sienna and Frey are battling like that all through the next you know couple of Seasons brilliant Bring It On yeah I said to Sienna at um plat field you know she really stands out in terms of of the Improvement the track skill the fitness the strength you know it’s all really coming together and obviously the results are showing um but of course Freya learns from these things uh really fast yeah I mean they’re both fantastic Riders they both come on Leaps and Bounds especially like you say Sienna over the last few years obviously Freya has been used to being out of the front she is that Rider that is always leading the pack so uh like you say Freya bounces back from these sort of scenarios so it be good to see how she sort of deals with that today come final time but I think the way that Sienna’s sort of improved over the last few seasons is Absol absolutely incredible I don’t think we could name a that’s sort of had that level of improvement over the last few years and especially doing it in the championship classes obviously she made the jump to Junior I think it was last year and now she’s just excelling and starting to pick up them results so it’s always good to see yeah a lot of pressure uh in that environment and speaking of pressure next up is uh is the Olympics yeah you know once every four years gold medals on the line the entire British sporting public pick up on anybody who wins a medal if it’s a gold and a silver like we got in Tokyo you know so much the better we’ve got the Riders there who can get it done let’s see what happens we got strong group freestyle as well actually I mean we got world champion in uh in the men haven’t we uh going in there Kieran yeah yeah so what you going to be watching the freestyle as well yeah definitely I I think it’s a great event I mean I I tried to catch as much of it as I could when it was back in Tokyo I mean I did get it all because obviously the time difference and things like that but um yeah no I think I think the Olympics is massive for any sort of athlete across any sport so especially for us to be sending who we’re sending and obviously they are at the top top of their game and that sort of thing so yeah I think it’s going to be a really good event and then after that the Brits yeah the Brits I mean it’s it’s massive it’s it’s it’s Martin richers as far as I’m aware our favorite British event so um it’s it’s a great great weekend it’s full of fun it’s full of great riding and it’s full of so much competition that I think everyone just enjoys it that little bit more than the national series it just brings out this extra bit of riding that that that no one seems
