Route Question: Two and a half weeks… How to extend the route?

I got more time than expected. Wanted to do the Route shown here in 3-4 days now I got a lot more time suddenly.
Startpoint is Heidelberg (by train) I thought about crossing the Black Forrest as well?
Any ideas about that? Or extending the route?
