My kids just learned to ride on two wheels, so I decided to join them and get a bike. I’m 42 and haven’t ridden a bike in a long time, but we have lots of dirt trails around our house and live near walking trails in the hills that are also used for mountain biking. I went to my local bike shop and explained to the guy that I wanted a decent entry-level mountain bike. He recommended this Silverback model, which I’m linking below. If you want to check out the specifications, I took it for a ride yesterday for about half an hour and really enjoyed it.
One thing I noticed on the frame is that it might be a ladies’ bike. I’m not sure whether to laugh or feel offended, but either way, let me know what you think of the bike without being too harsh. I live in South Australia, so there are lots of fun places to ride.
