I understand you're keen to get footage of phone use (and of course to help stop it)
But do be careful of getting distracted by that, it looks like you gave the driver of the Mini an awful fright when you started to move towards them to advance up to film the phone driver.
I was thinking Mikey thats not going to pass in court you cant even see the phone and then shes clearly holding the phone when you go up to the car. You have a good eye for this stuff

Yes, you asked the question as to why she would wave 'sorry' to you, at the time I'm thinking 'how is it they see a cyclist at their offside, peering at or into their vehicle, and not object ro violation of privacy?' Most of them object that they were doing nothing wrong, so why say anything? I'm annoyed with the van at ~42 seconds blocking the entrance to the cordoned off portion of the cycle lane.
You know they're the sort of driver who'll complain rotten that you're not using the cycle lane, while carelessly blocking it off because they just don't care.

Nice Work , if the time is logged the Phone network companies can confirm it was active upon police enquiry. I always bag my phone if I'm in control of a car , I feel some legislations are ridiculous money earners but Phones absorbe the user , thanks for what you do as a majority pedestrian and cyclist .
