Albania is a country full of contrasts. Bikepacking through this balkan country showed me many sides of this, but the first few hundreds of kilometres showed me its dark side and its biggest problem.
Moving south I could see things improving, but the first images I saw are still stuck in my head.
What stayed constant was the warmth of the people. I felt very welcomed and got lots of encouragements along the road.
