hi welcome to another UK gravel Collective video and on today’s video we’re going in search of some steam Railway uh and I’ve driven part of the way to start this ride because it’s quite hilly and I did a lot of riding yesterday so I was knackered but that what 20 minute drive has convinced me that I don’t want to drive on the roads I think I had three near misses people just pulling out straight in front of me it’s convinced me that I need to get a job where I don’t drive and I can commute by bike anyway let’s get back on and hopefully things will be a lot more pleasant now we’re on a bit of [Applause] off-road let’s see what happens oh Fab I love flutterbys let’s see let’s explore the trail [Music] [Music] denied do you know what I did a video they called what one of uh the lost lons videos which was about time I think and uh I mentioned seeing the mercy in the way and that was in wit church not far from Chester so come full circle that was almost 12 months ago as well I’m not riding to Chester to die I’m trying to get a bit of a wiggle on here on the top path otherwise you’re going to miss the train after all this riding [Music] [Music] um all for uh using the gravel bike for inappropriate Trails or a grapple bike but you know we’ve got a train to try and catch so it would be irresponsible for me to go and do some jumps on this G bike wouldn’t it yes well for fans of uh Inola homes this is the station at Ary that uh the scenes were filmed at now unfortunately we’re not going to see anything steamy today because well there’s the timetable where you can see see that if not I’ll put a picture of it on the screen in a second but it is currently qu 12 and you can see that even if you wait till 10 to 1 it’s going to be a diesel uh and down the road at highly uh it’s going to be 3:00 for the next steam yeah so going to miss out on some steam but there’s a lovely station recommend SEC the seven Valley Railway though and this is on um ncn 45 so easy to get to uh although some quite big Hills well in the uh absence of anything steamy decided to stop for lunch because it’s pretty beautiful there’s a bridge over seven she’s lower Arley won’t we going in that Pub unfortunately so the only thing steaming today is this cup of tea [Music] okay so may have been wrong about the Tim table and the steam unit [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] and the only problem with being at the station at lower Arley is that both ways to get out of Arley is a big climb and that’s not good after a sausage roll so we’re heading for upper Arley which I think is only like mile climb it just seems like 8 miles but there’s no way around it unless I swim back to Worcester on the river 7 aning I mean that’s not confusing at all Compton’s through that hedge K this way shatterford never was a uh big Le better Nam cuz that’s at the top of that Hill up from Harley and I was anyway I think it’s this way [Music] okay [Music] [Music] [Music] oh yeah my C [Music] me [Music] well that’s what we’re going to call it quits here I think uh some misunderstanding with the train Tim tables but we managed it it’s a some steam if you’d like to see uh other steam trains probably not on this channel um and me reading Tim table’s wrong don’t forget to like And subscribe um and share this with your friends and uh I’ll see you on the next one thanks for watching

  1. Looks like some good off road stuff there. I mostly do canal stuff htrough stourbridge, kinver and wolverhamptom routes. I also cycle the lanes around enville greensforge and local to those. There's the old Staffordshire railway route, which is a bit overgrown at the moment, but worth a ride too. I've cycled from Stourbridge to Malvern a couple of times and there's some lovely little villages along the route. I enjoy your videos, thanks for making them. It would be nice to join you and a few others on a route some time
