20240616-LondonToBrighton-2024
At 70+ Hari decided to do the British Heart Foundation’s London to Brighton charity bike ride.
Unfortunately he tested positive for COVID-19 a few days before the event, which hampered his training program.
The ride commenced at Clapham Common and ended at Marine Parade in Brighton on the South coast. A distance of 54 miles (85 km). The distance he actually covered was about 90 km from the Drop-off point to the Pick-up.
The last time he did the ride was 12 years ago in 2012. Completing the ride reaffirmed his physical & mental capabilities as being in reasonable shape.
He was pleased to have made a small contribution to the BHF fund.
