OTB in Lousã, Portugal | Mountain Biking | WeRide.pt

Duarte and his Friend João with WeRide.pt guided us around the mountain biking trails in Lousã. Lousã is in Central Portugal and has a word cup DH track (that we unfortunately did not have time to visit) and steep, loose trails. We originally were scheduled for 2 days of riding here, but due to fire risks our trip was shortened to 1 day.

so this video is going to be from the riding in loser Portugal loser was the second stop we made in Portugal to ride one of our days and lose got eliminated because of fire risks and lose and they shut down the roads up to the mountains we only had one day to ride loser was definitely one of my favourite places to ride it was like I said we lost one day at the end of our riding lose a we hopped back in the van and we’ll start our trek towards Sentra and on the way to Centro we make a stop in the city of Optima where the sanctuary fossil is located beautiful massive Church so that’s at the end of the video hope you like this video and definitely if you ever get a chance to visit Portugal to ride it up we right so we just finished sightseeing in Porto and are on our way to loser which is in central Portugal now in this photo what you want to focus on is not the handsome dudes but that village on the hillside in the background this is called a schist village it’s unique to central Portugal and schist is a unique type of stone I guess it’s easily split to create a flat surface so for centuries they use this horizontal stone as the ideal building material to create these homes so these homes are located up along hillsides in a little village a lot of them are owned individually in this particular one the owner had purchased multiple buildings and created a little I guess you could say like resort because she’s modernized the insides but the feeling you get as you walk through these little villages just transports you back in time [Music] you can see we have all the creature comforts inside it’s super comfortable when you get and you’re well-rested when you stay there these villages are just super cool and up in the mountains and quiet and peaceful oh we’re gonna ride name it stage one stage one was the first stage of the race here in yeah okay do they have a name on Strava does anybody use Rafi yeah okay to the crowd so long Oh okay yep [Music] coming from SoCal we don’t have a lot of trees to ride through I don’t know about you riding through trees it’s just something so special [Music] the seat that’s too high for me can’t go lower or no here in lose out riding just patrol again but it is a different transition control so that meant had to get it reconfigured for me just get used to it again [Applause] Oh hard to see the edges yeah awesome sometimes the mic space here yeah [Music] [Music] as you can see there’s a lot of leaves on the ground this creates a very slick surface something I’m just not really used to Oh put the peddle there I’m good I uh I got cut off on an edge first crashed of the day what’s that you’re filming yeah you have to film crashes okay it’s like ha car these leaves make it loose yeah yeah these leaves are so yeah now yeah yep not used to it blow me [Music] [Applause] so it’s a little bit loose [Music] is it me or is that deceptively loose [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] guys this is just flow no jumps nothing [Music] [Music] [Applause] Oh see I can see the massive dust cloud yeah [Music] Oh [Music] Oh big roots fruits as fun [Music] [Music] Oh Oh can’t see [Applause] whoo fun I like that section that was fun I like that that was good that’s very good I like that khloe’s [Laughter] [Applause] see [Music] [Applause] [Applause] okay slow technical okay [Music] [Music] Hey [Music] [Music] [Music] Oh Oh [Music] oh go I’m off my bike man it’s Rudy [Music] haha yes oh jeez so easy so easy [Music] [Applause] [Music] hyaline Oh does nice tree grab we can now call Joe the tree hugger this is the fun stuff yeah [Music] so we’re riding through college now right yeah dollars No [Music] [Music] [Music] who Oh tick tock [Music] his hand he punched it yeah well scrape yeah [Music] Oh tight turn [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Oh Oh big rock Oh couldn’t stop oh it’s so slick these leaves these leaves are so I couldn’t stop around that corner ran right into the bushes [Music] off-camber he split off [Music] I like Jeff Emily he’s coming okay not bad [Music] solid line [Music] oh whoa [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] what not somebody’s gay VP Negroes or now some Ray’s cables or tables [Music] [Music]
