cheers of delight and size of relief all around for Alber to K at the fifth time of asking yasper Phillips had gets his first stage win at this tour to France and it’s hard to imagine Robbie whether they will be more excited by that or just darn relieved I think a good healthy dose of both but it took them so long to get the train on the rails here in this tour to France and arguably they’re going to enjoy this win more than had they just come out on day one done a work lead out and just won and just rolled on from from what they did last year but it it was brilliant to watch from the whole team the way they executed that you’d have to say it was just perfection well the only thing is that he did move from his line in the final 200 me I’m just joking obviously but yeah I mean fantastic Sprint and I was questioning Vander pole as well in his lead out what he’s been doing so far he’s not looked like he did last year but you can safely say both of them today Vander Paul and Philip both looked like they were in last year’s race because the way they dominated that was just like Robbie said he walked in after and he just said textbook down to a te you can’t fault them for any of the work they did leading inside it was just perfect it was absolutely perfect as the word Danny and as Adam is jokingly referring to he held his line all the way there is no question as to the validity of that stage when which is exactly what they needed as well isn’t it yeah it is what they needed and he held his line perfectly it was a perfect execution of tactics in the final from the team and now they’ve got the momentum finally and they came into this tour being the favorites in terms of the Sprint finishes didn’t they so it’s going to be a huge wait off their backs ready for the next few Sprint stages left to come after tomorrow a wait off their backs and hair off their faces as well because alpus and D have had a bet within themselves they’re not allowed to shave until they get the first stage when finally they’ll get the razes out tonight not that you would know from the faces of any of the to be brutal honest you couldn’t even notice but it was interesting to see Christof rud Hof the team manager there just thumping at the steering wheel absolutely delighted he’s been an angry frustrated man over the course of week one hasn’t he Robbie and that kind of atmosphere that he will bring to the table tonight will make a big difference to the team as well won’t it the whole team’s been frustrated for the first week and even when their question about what went wrong and a relegation in in the interviews even for kristofh after we see there you know just bipping the horn lightly um he’s had to try and keep his cool as much as possible and play everything down and be a bit understated and not not lose his cool in interviews and there you can finally see that you know they get that win and he’s able to just let it all go and it feels so good to win any stage in the tour it feels good to win when you’re going well and everything goes right but when it’s been going wrong you’ve had setbacks to then get one feels even better um we’ve been talking about a t def France of first is that the first time we’ve seen kristofh rudov smile like that ever I feel like Adam possibly I’ve seen him a couple of times smiling when you’re on the motor Market he’s very polite and quite a lovely man but yeah we don’t get that so much tell can have a smile at you Adam that’s what it is bringing the charm out of everybody
