yes especially after yesterday race uh I really did uh but to be honest the atmosphere and the feeling of the bike was super good like we also see here uh we are always as a family so especially from the start of the two the atmosphere is so every single night we spend quite so much time on the table that is really good good mind so yeah but today race St really nor after uh really hard stat what can you say about this week this last week with two victories and the green jersey I think it’s uh really successful I think we didn’t expect to have this two Victory the first week and uh but like I said to be honest uh I work super hard from that I joined the team 2021 to to be at the best the world but like you say like we still have some bad LS crash happen and uh we also a lot of times really bad crash I cannot show myself and the good way but we still keep Cal work hard really I just want to say thank you to all my uh my team especially for uh my fores because they really never put me a lot of pressure they just always say to me take it easy you will improve one day so I think this is that they believe in me and then uh this also the way to work really the SP me so I’m just super happy but this week I think it’s what can I say just like more than I expect for myself personally I didn’t expect even to win one stage the first week because the first week is everybody’s uh full power and everybody’s ready but for me personally was uh not so much more than I expect and then I’m really proud what do you think now are you the best Sprinter in in this year’s two def frence it’s uh it’s always the the first guy who cross the line is the you can say yes yeah I mean it’s still a long way to go you know uh but the first thing can give me a lot of confidence is win in front of the best printers in the world especially if you see the last years there is already still a lot of guys that win for stage even another of stage so to win ahead of them it’s for me going give me a lot of good confidence especially for the future and yeah I think for the moment I feel fast for myself thanks yeah um we heard after h w again you received 6,000 messages on your phone um what happened with your phone after two stage victories here in MC green jersey Clos it’s Clos I just I just do now uh I need to do smart way because otherwise I I cannot see all the message from I girl from so I put all the team on the the different group and then the other is just like I don’t know I I I see a lot of message not only WhatsApp and Instagram and email everything so now it’s it’s too much to this how satisfying is this week when you think back after the crash in the tour of fls last year when you were completely wed and went back to it and even your daughter didn’t recognize you the the difference between them and now is enormous yeah absolutely I think that’s the hardest Crush I ever have of flers I was cing de it to see my uh uh phot my my eyes is already yeah I think that week I just want to say again thanks to my team because uh uh they give me everything they can go which I stay in the team hotel and then they have uh they gave only for me one nurse every day can they can care by themselves to check every day how I am yeah but to uh to end up this way it was not the best but I just always try to keep working improving never G up uh to see myself now here it’s uh give me really a lot of uh good emotion and uh yeah I’m just uh super happy to see myself now this um the green jersey the the lead now is is big already how do you rate your chances of of uh wearing the green jersey in in me at the end yeah for me the one thing is I really enjoy everything uh do Victory the wi Jersey also wi stage it’s never going to be easy I really also with the green jersey for me I was just super happy uh super profited also and but still it’s not finished yet if you lose two uh two Sprint it’s already 100 can’t need more than me so yeah just uh trying to to do the best that I can the only thing I must proud is I have really strong lead out with me so that can give me really big confidence I can uh control uh this jersey in this because if you see the lead out how they can it’s uh it’s that strong and they are also three of them they are the first time in to so that’s give me really a good uh energy because they are really motivated they just want to be uh as good as they can and then just doing great job and I think together with my team this how big a goal are the Olympics for you right after this tour of F and it’s true that you’re are improving even in this tour yeah it’s actually a good question the plan was to uh to build up in the for the Olympic game but now I think I’m almost in my top shape so I hope first the goal is to finish the tour safely and then uh to go to miss with the green jersey and then after one if I finish with the green jersey in this I think this is uh more than a Olympic game for me personally and then I’m still I have couple of days to to recover and to continue but for the moment everything is perfect and uh day by day ones last question um the prepared some beautiful sausages uh really have one for two of the of the sandwiches sausages yeah I think last year I really enjoy every single the rest day because we have a barbecue and some sausage was was beautiful I think this is the only thing I like from the team we are always together as a prob enjoying every single moment so I gave today it would be a great R table thank you hi B uh will you the flag beerer of errea in opening ceremony in really close for the ceremony so uh don’t know yet but if I can also I just proud to car F and what’s the meanings of your victories uh in arria and Africa for Africa cycling I think it’s it’s huge uh I you say it’s huge opportunity for the African cycling especially for my country I think everybody watch on the on the BET was quick just people everywhere celebrating and after the first victory was they just qu crazy and then I put the second one even a big celebration so I can imagine I see myself in front of them but yeah it’s uh it means a lot for sure thank you talking about Eritrea so there’s four Eritrean riders in the world tour there’s another 10 that proon and Cony level that’s a huge amount for an African nation can you talk a little bit about the culture of cycling in irraa we talked to some fans yesterday who said the amount of bike shops in a tra and the guys that can fix everything and they’re they’re a big part of a tra bike they you’d like to say yeah I think the only thing we need to know abouta it’s like the same in Europe you know we just need uh an opportunity to become an European brother we have perfect mechanic we have a perfect P shop we have very culture it’s not the deos it’s already more than 95 F so uh the CR be it’s like uh cycling is an hour BL so uh we don’t need even to uh to learn how to become professional right we can uh race whatever we want you know we can race also in the cstone we ever race cstone but we can also do this so that is we have really big potential so yeah still we need to have like interm maret because in interm maret the bestes and we are there also we have the development two Riders so other thingss they have the say and if they power they need to invest also this because my team be they invest a lot on me and then now it’s the so other teams also they have have the same our team they to and your your brother is in the development team I think does he does he aim to be better better than you when he’s your age why know I mean it’s it’s always depends himself if you work hard and keep living for sure he’ll be withing yeah apart from uh all the efforts that your team an is doing what else could be done to promote African cycling to help young African Riders reach the world tour I mean it’s uh it’s hard to say because still uh the loc Races they need to because if you see uh Africa is big continent but the cycling is just in few country uh maybe in South Africa in India and little in Randa or so but the other Nation also they have to work on on cycling but especially on itria I think they work super hard they invest also a lot they just need uh to look the talent rer and to K maybe one day to see thean talent to to put them on the European races like so you mentioned this kind of videos in social media right what does that mean to you what is or what are you feeling when you watch this yeah it’s just G me uh big Pro you know and I’m just super happy to be because soon uh if if because on the CL I cannot some vers B the others so that’s a and what could be your ultimate goal now become a world champion Olympic champion or win a monument would think you give me more pressure in your country yes I think it’s it’s not easy to to to tell how big is it because for example if you do loc loc race just like you can see more B 500,000 people there I remember this year at the national the national champion they sell one million tick so that means B it’s it’s how big is the design is so they finish the decade and then they just people they let them just go because we have really big studying on the street so people they can see this and but it’s like it’s unbeliev crazy here I think I say like the same T of FS you see it everywhere big F and how was it uh at your
