Hi everyone! Me and my wife are planning our first bike tour (ever) through Europe. We've been using Google Maps combined with Eurovelo maps to help us plan our route, but we have a big question mark when our route passes through the alps. I don't know the mountains well and I've heard they are very steep. Does anyone have a recommendation of a route that would be of moderate difficulty for us to pass through? I have attached our route's rough draft. The more zoomed in part is where the route supposedly gets difficult (Is it even passable? Google Maps says it is but I'm not sure, since we don't have much training). Does anyone have recommendations for a route through the alps that would allow us to more or less complete the itinerary as shown? (arriving at Genoa from Paris through the most direct route possible).
