Riding a bicycle can be a fantastic form of exercise, but it doesn’t come without its very serious risks. Alongside common-sense safety measures like wearing a helmet, it’s become vitally important over the last few years to ensure that if you’re biking with headphones on, you’ve got the volume on low and are using transparency mode with Airpods or similar devices so you can hear the world around you. #shorts

    1. When I was little this actually happens to me… I fell of my bike WHILE WE WHERE GOING DOWN A HILL I literally looked like one of those bugs that curl up in a ball and you can roll them and SQASH them anyways… SOME 15 YEAR-OLD RAN ME OVER WITH HIS BIKE DOWN A HILL. My arm was broke and the kid fell off his bike onto another kid ( my sister ) so they both fractured their foot and the other kid ran/walked away with a half broken foot
Now to this day I still have marks and scars on my arm 🙂

    2. This. This is why I never ride my bike without a helmet, why I don't use two headphones but only one, why I stop at a red light and why I let drivers know when they're risking me and them.

    3. I put my arms out in front like that when riding my electric scooter and hitting a bump, I went flying forward just like that. I broke my left elbow, left wrist, and sprained my right wrist

    4. So a month ago I was on a swing set a wooden one and I had my headphones in and I heard a snap and I friend to get off the swing before I crashed but I didn’t get of in time I got 6 staples in my head but I am now healthy

    5. As I person who similarly got run over by a cycle when I was 8…I felt that XD

I actually deserved getting run over though XD

It was inside an ashram campus,
we had a big playground on one side,
the basketball court the other side,
      and a path in between

So well I was helping a friend of mine who was four or something,
To cross and go to the basketball court,
But I noticed last min that a teenage girl was riding her cycle at a super fast rate
And she had earphones on XD

So she totally missed my scream XD

And in the heat of the moment,I quickly pushed the boy to the other side and for some reason

Stood rooted to the ground as the cycle crashed onto me and easily rose over my hand and shoulder XD

Thankfully the girl wasn't hurt as much as the one here, cuz my body was small anyways so it din make her tumble down

    6. My sister and I went biking together once, and I wiped out and landed face up, my sister was too close behind me and couldn't stop in time so she rode her bike right over my solar plexus, and I got the wind knocked out of me for a minute straight. The first time you get the wind knocked out of you, your life changes forever lol 😭💀

    7. 1 random guy: *falls* OOOOWWWW8
The same guy: *gets ran over*
      another random guy: *flips bike*
Doctor Mike: YOU NEED TO BREAK PEWOOP!!

    8. Just by hearing your brakes squeal you have more control of your bike. That made me laugh so hard. Clearly you have no idea what you are talking about. first and for most you have more control over your bike by feeling what your bike is doing then listening to your bike is second squealing brakes means a lot of things. also I prefer noise cancallation headphone so I can't hear anything when I ride. That's just me. BUT If you are totally aware of what is going on around you. And know how to react to situations that pop up then you'll be fine. do us all a favor and don't give cyclist advise when clearly you have no idea what you are talking about.
