good morning hello well we’re not actually in Colorado not the one in America but we are in the provinal provin Colorado R Rio okay so it’s Colorado like apparently so we were a bit intrigued with it so we thought we’d come here and investigate and bring you guys along with us so why the hell not you know now this place isn’t that far away from where we were last week but the architecture and the colors all change completely different completely different they’re all ranges of red okra pink dark pink everything is in the color of the rock so very very interested to see the difference literally 15 minutes up the road against here so let’s go and have a look should we let’s do it all [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] B [Music] [Music] [Music] well the colors are certainly impressive there are indeed and it actually changes color as well you got like purples Reds yellows orange all manner of colors even just here there’s red floor and then there’s yellow over there and orange up there it’s uh it’s quite crazy but beautiful it reminds me of the estral mountains um up near can between can and um f that bright red and um so it reminds me a bit of that do it really we’ve never actually walked up there though no no we’ driven past it but that’s about it but here’s it is it is beautiful it is beautiful and the forest as well is it even yeah I was a bit worried thinking it was going to be kind of really hot and baking but it’s not cuz we got loads of shade so that’s cool dogs aren’t objecting to it too much I mean it is a steaming hot day it’s like 30 31 degre today yeah it’s nice to have the tree cover certainly for these little uh little toads they’re now covered in red sand gig’s been having a good old snuffle under the under the chair here and Lily had what looked like lipstick on yeah it did look like lipstick yeah particularly fetching shade of coral so yeah we’re going to continue our walk here it is slightly guided and you have two different walks you have a 35 and a 60 Minute walk 50 50 minute okay 50 minute walk okay so I’m going to do the 50 minute charlott’s going to do the 305 minute because the dogs are yeah the dogs your foot as yeah cuz it is it’s generally pretty okay for walking but there’s a couple of bits that are a bit a bit dodgy so um there are hand rails around though which is very useful so yeah I’m going to go and do the 50 minute leave Charlotte here on the bench for for a bit because um I got a feeling there’s going to be some really nice um scenery there and I want to go and see it so some stuff you with with your stupid foot hasn’t been a party for me no and then after once we’ve we’ve done here walking around here we’re going to go into town it does you know look like it’s quite pretty and grab a coffee maybe an ice cream even supposed to be good a good ice cream shop here so yeah okay cool I’m up for some ice cream what about you you up some ice cream go to your own freezer get some out and you could have some ice cream anyway Let’s uh let’s get going [Music] [Music] hey do hello my babies you want to go and get the ice cream yes peace see something else but yeah ice cream at the [Music] moment all right just going to have a look in this shop see if I can find a sticker cuz I’m a bit annoyed I forgot to get stickers well in fact didn’t have them for the last two places we’ve been at so but this place looks a bit more promising so let’s go and see right this places have the world supply of magnets but no stickers what is going on don’t understand it so anyway let’s get going for this ice cream and uh get into town and see what we can see there in fact before we do that here’s an update on the camper van challenge we do have some big news and we have been working really hard over the last few months in the background on all manner of stuff but it’s all coming together it’s all coming together the first big piece of news is that my daughter AKA Amy and aan is now no longer able to host the camper van challenge instead she’ll be going off for her own great Calla she’s making a a film and that is what I come in I am Brooke I’m 19 and I live in dorsy with my partner and I am robs new co-host the beautiful thing about this is that Brooke has been inspired by ammy and is every bit as much of a drama queen as Amy is like On’s enough and Brooke has been converting her own van with her partner for the last year I’m almost finished Rob I promise we’ll be done in time for film in September well that brings me on to the next big point is that we are coming to the UK to come and see you guys because 42% of you watching I actually live in the UK so it makes sense that we come to you rather than you come all the way to France don’t worry none of our challenges are too dangerous and you won’t have to eat anything too disgusting or any fish eyes damn it I was looking forward to that the fact is most of our audience are over the age of 45 and our challenges will be okay for the mentally and physically we would love for more couples to apply your four nights day a top campsite will be covered by us we don’t care what type of camper van you’ve got whether it’s well this place is so so different from g g the last two last the last place we’ve been to last two places it is a right of color and that’s a really good explanation actually it’s completely different style I don’t know if it’s just newer not as old as the other places don’t know but um it’s very very different it’s amazing 15 minutes out the road the difference oh go it is it’s like it’s like almost in another country is isn’t it absolutely so we just had a nice coffee sit down um Ducks collapsed for a bit so we just had a nice bit of chill time just uh soaking up the atmosphere and doing a bit of people watching which is what we like to do not to judge people but it’s just nice watching people uh mosy around on their holidays you know yeah people look happy happy and relaxed they do they look very happy and relaxed and chilled so um but we’re going to head back to the van now because these dogs need feeding and so do we we’re pretty hungry now so we’ll see you back at the [Music] van something’s falling off there is there a pile of stuff there that’s falling off there don’t go to in case it happens again okay well as you can see we’re now back at the van it’s nice and cool we parked in the shade needed to hot today it was a rather warm walk back as well wasn’t it it was but we kept the dogs in the shade cuz the sun’s on its way down and they’ve all just collapsed in the back of the but we hope you enjoyed this place because um we certainly did we’ve done a a lot of steps today yeah we have but it’s been totally worth it absolutely love this place I’ll say it’s it’s not Colorado but apparently it’s very similar so please let us know if that’s true probably not we’ll see well they’ve said it is so let us know in the comments if you agree so anyway we will see you again next week and this time we do know where we’re going we’re going to stop off and get a bit of piece on the way but next week it’s Exon provance because I’ve only got one pair of shorts and I need more than one pair short so we’ve been to Exon provant before we have it is beautiful it’s a lovely place we know where we can park for free as well so anyway we will see you in Exxon provance next week but for now sayura bye bye right okay I just actually hold that thought I’ve just spent about the last half an hour just sitting down on the phone on park for night looking for a place for us to stay for a few days because that’s what we do during the week you see us like for a day or sometimes two in these nice towns and Villages but what do we do with the rest of the week well we’ve R free park ups and nice places with nice reviews in nature quite a lot and I’ve just found this one Park up I have never seen such good reviews in the last 2 and 1 half years so this car park that we’re in at the moment is €7 for the night but why pay €7 for a night in this car park when we can go there we paid a part for the day so yeah we paid was it 4 for the day that’s reasonable but uh why why pay when you can go to a better location and uh it’s free let’s go let’s go let’s show you a little bit about what we do the rest of the [Music] week you reach it no oh [Music] this drive has been absolutely spectacular the smells from the Pines from the flowers whatever flowers that are around the scenery the rock face it’s just yeah you have to come and try it it’s [Music] unbelievable all right we’re now coming up to where this pitch is and I don’t know what this is a Dumping Ground oh no it’s a BMX thing Tru oh look at this oh this is nuts you’re went to BMX in Bike Park bike park bit of a tight turn and these are all Park UPS here apparently it gets better than this so turn left at the end here there’s this place here it says I need to turn left just here there someone’s there let’s go and see so we have a buddy just here where’s going to be the nicest place to park it’s going to be somewhere over there I think you got a view that way got a view over there what you reckon people re there I reckon that let’s go and see if we can get over there how the we’re going to get over there right I’ll get back to you in a bit all right so I managed to find um a space took a bit of time actually because there’s lots of dips and stuff and because me um my toe bar on the back’s quite low um I didn’t want to Bott them out on on those so I had to be rather uh strategic about how to get into this space but we’re in in this lovely Pine little forest and there’s a really nice view here as well so well be on the trees yeah yeah and we are protected a bit by the trees from the wind so that’s cool now we’re pitched up here we got enough food water everything for good yeah and we we got enough of everything for a good three days here 4 days before we need to move on so let’s go and show you around anyway I’ll show you the view and show you where we are um let’s kind have a look [Music] [Music] around all right well I’m really happy about this place as you’ve just seen it’s pretty nice so we are going to leave you here and we’re going to get in the back and collapse and have Saint to eat and feed the dogs yeah and do our normal evening stuff normal normal evening routine anyway I hope you’ve enjoyed this video and um yeah next week like we said we’ll be ex on provance we stayed actually there quite a bit yeah we’ve yeah we’ve been a few times there so we know where to park the place we park is not the most picturesque place to park is it but but it’s free we stayed there for maybe I think a week at one point it’s an easy Park up and very quick to get to
