A friend of mine bought a gravel bike in october 2023. What seemed very odd to me was the fact that his chain started to rust in a matter of 3-4 weeks, even though he maintained his bike frequently.

Is there any possibility that it's a defect from kmc and if there is any way to go through a warranty case?
