now on my site right so welcome back to the channel guys today we’re here in alsford me20 postcode taking a look at stapleton’s tire services on their website it says that they have 80 years experience as one of the UK’s largest Distributors of passenger car 4×4 and Van Tires employing over 1,000 people at 11 strategic locations across the UK some photos of inside lots and lots of tires this place looks quite important where all the big deliverers arrive eight Bays they’ve got their own little Vehicles there look stapleton’s tire services and they also have somebody else doing something to their tires in their own car park so it doesn’t look like they uh look after their own Vehicles because they’ve got a Mercedes-Benz customer service wagon there changing a tire on a citen this entrance is goods inwards and customer collections all delivery drivers to report to the transport office some of the big boys collect their tires from here do they National Tires and Auto Care looks like we’ve got a bit of a valtin bay here yes very wet on the floor and from this position you can have a little look inside Bay number two and we can see how they are neatly organized and the vehicles all seem to be quite new 23 plate [Music] here I do like [Music] that when the bays are not in use but they’re open they have that barrier across so people can’t fall out that’s how it should be done and here we have some scrap and look what the they do to the scrap here bail them together all crushed different is it it’s good how they wheel the tires around a little trer just making videos for social media for what man for social media okay I just want to know just as long as you don’t come in here cuz I know that gate’s open and that so where’s that come like through the gate what’s that you do is this one of these Tik Tok things and that uh social media yeah Tik Tok Instagram Facebook YouTube po but my govern just I said I saw you at Poly pipe as well yeah yeah that’s a massive site there I’ve never seen ties been bailed like that before crushed is that what the green machine is there yeah just crushes puts them in a bow and then we send them off and they get processed so if I take the drone over that I’ll see it in action will I well ideally would want you to fly the drone over it um you can take what you like from outside of the perimeter too many bushes is there can’t see it unfortunately M I’d rather not have the drone over here yeah cuz I’ve I’ve traveled quite a way I’m here to get the footage so if that machine is operating I’ll use the Drone i’ not really um well why don’t other companies that are filmed have like the bales of tires all crushed like that not everyone’s doing the same process like that are they well I don’t know what other companies are doing um the other one that I filmed was um I can’t remember but I didn’t see anything like that so a lot of people like the tire videos a lot of people like uh watching industry yeah cuz people you get you you’re here every day people work in banks in offices so if they see some Machinery moving and it’s different great you won’t see nothing how hide and as soon as you turn it on as in you won’t see the machine you can’t see it’s all internal everything that happens on it is internal there’s no moving parts to it or that so you don’t actually see the tires being crushed no no so they basically they open that front door they like all the tires are put in there they’re laced in there by hand and then the next time you see it it comes out like that so you won’t see anything operating when we’re hovering over scrapyards yeah and the lowering like vehicles and metal into the um Grinders and the compactors and stuff like that you actually see it oh no it’s all internal and then well there’s no point yeah it just wraps uh like a cable around it inside and then they lift it out with a fli like with a big pinch up they lift it out that’s all you say m it’s honestly nothing interesting it’s like a big um like a big fridge so do you buy your tires from abroad yeah they come direct from the manufacturers what abroad uh yeah all over the world what in shipping container or they come in containers they come they come various ways so in these type of things or are these taking out no they’re coming in that’s coming in yeah so you don’t actually have the container arrive here you have no it arrives to the pole yeah and then they they ship them in right they quite where have you come from leer Leicester you going to take yourself to Peter bra I’ve been done all Peter BR done Peter bra yeah what have you got in Peter BR in mind a big it’s one of us in Peter bar but it looks like the McLaren Technology Center it’s massive massive Warehouse bigger than here you’ve to change their Tire on their vehicle yes so the Fitters so they’re mobile Fitters yeah yes so wouldn’t you just do it yourself because I the fits we no we can’t do it we’re not you’ve not got a time machine no no no you’ve not got a tire machine in the old place just a warehouse that’s mad would you know how to do it though would you know how to like pop the rim and get it off me personally Paul the Val out no You’ never done it no no right why would I need to do that someone else in the job any I if I do that it’s just general knowledge of your industry and it change the tire on my push bike that’s it it’s different man right there you go that’s got an inue but these ain’t uh no no I haven’t my bik youre my push bike hasn’t got you got a good bike then I have got a good bike is it electric no it’s a proper bike you see mine there I do no I’ve never heard of a um is it a racer yes it’s a road bike yeah what one of the ones with the the handle bars like Racers exactly that I’ve got you I’ve got you so what’s the benefit then not having a tube well I get a puncher it seals itself right worry about it you got the green goo inside of you yeah like guns as white it comes like a white post cuz you can put the green goo inside the inner tube as well can’t you yeah but this is easy I’ve not had a punch since I started running J well you’ve not put it to the test then I have I cycle at least 30 m a day did you come to work on the bike no right so I’m a keing cyclist I would you ever go to Electric no when you’re older just a bit of assist I am older no I’m still enough for all right so is it worth me taking the Drone up or am I just going to see a big roof no I think uh up here you’re going to see a big roof over there you’re going to see the roof of a tent and that is it there is no moving Machinery there are no moving Parts there is nothing of interest at all unfortunately right now if you take your drone inside you might have more fun but I don’t think you’re going to be alow N I wouldn’t even try it mate wouldn’t even try it cuz you know people tend to say the Drone is trespassing right cuz the Drone is on my property but it’s in the air it’s just flying over like a hot air balloon I think it’s I don’t have a problem with it like I fly racing drones I don’t I love drones but what model is that what model I’ve built with myself oh did you so I don’t personally don’t have a problem with your TR what I do have a problem with or I I don’t what the company will have a problem with is it common courtesy to ask you know it’s probably not illegal I don’t know for sure it’s probably not illegal it’s not really doing any harm but something does happen to that drone and it comes down or you know you’re interfering or somebody’s maneuvering in the yard and they’re distracted by it whatever it may be and it cses next and that’s what probably companies are more there’s nothing to hide it makes a where R you know what I mean people flying drones around industrial areas they tend to stay above roof height yeah so it’s out of the way of a distraction of a forlift driver or or Lorry and yours yours probably would come down if you ran out of battery but mine you know the DJI ones it’s Mini 4 you better of a Mini 4 the latest one makes no words the fact of the matter is so if somebody has told me that you’re right here yeah and I saw your drone over there yeah a driver or somebody in the yard could be distracted by it they won’t could be B with height I never come Bel RI height but I saw it I saw it way up over the I was Landing oh you saw it when you came around the back didn’t you yeah but what I’m saying is at some point that’s got to come up and come down so me personally I I don’t care I care you do I don’t it sounds like you do I really don’t um but as far as it being over it ideally not it’s probably not illegal it’s probably not really the end of the world over but that’s uh that’s probably what annoys people with it has your drone got a camera on it yeah like an fpv so you have to have like the operator ID have the C doesn’t do itself I there all theuts yeah yeah but you have to like register it you have to I don’t I fly it on private Grand like as in I go to a site over near not far from br’s where we race was a set up are you any good no you’re not you’re not even fast I’m as fast as I can yeah you need to build a better one do you yeah prob what would you do would you build a better one or pay for a better one no just fly better fly better oh so you could get better then I could get better there for but what with all my cycl and I ain’t got time is it any good in a dark atmosphere or indoors it’s not bad it’s not ideal get by that’ll be a good video for the company then if you do one in there zooming in and out all the tires you can imagine it though can’t you bang it on all the social medias no so I’m not a fan of the social media but it’s growing yeah I think that for business well I need to actually go to do somewh M good um like I said there is nothing Ro clearly not well at the end of every video that I I do and I have started I Won’t Get Low I’ll be above the roof I’ll just go flight it’s just going to be ticking a box drone flight complete so let’s go and grab it shall we so there we are up at 45 M nice and high certainly not going to be a distraction are we at all he says as long as you don’t come through the gate okay obviously this road down here leads to multiple businesses pigfords being one of them we have the crush tires down there the Bales and the Machine which the forlift isn’t ready to get anything out of it just yet so we’ll stay over here for now it’s quite a big place quite a lot of people working here as well look all the cars in the car Park Senior senior one and Senior 2 electric vehicle charging disabled right next door to polypipe where he saw us earlier when he was on his patrols and there is no police there that’s a good sign he said he was going to call the police polypipe guy so we’re still up at 46 m we’ve got the mercedesbenz vehicle that has just fitted a tire to the little citen down [Music] here I wonder if he got his tire from inside got this one reversing and then we’ll just have one quick look at this machine oh it’s actually under under the cover oh there is somebody doing something there that we’ll stay above roof
