France Day 6: One of the Best Roads We’ve Ridden? Aurillac to Millau

We continued south to Millau, our home for the next two nights, on some of the prettiest roads we’d seen so far.

dripping cold water down my back and we are literally out of a city in a minute and look at that yeah beautiful beautiful countryside come through towards you riding yeah that’s enough now I want to stop at a really Raw Cafe but I don’t have the opportunity right another big thing I think yeah I think a lot of them are oh the moon’s out too was it oh yeah right yeah this is nice I think this is part of a national park right there was one on the map yeah oh look at that view yeah wow this is the d920a I think we only like cut the core of the green bit though we’re not miles from it because we put like another two hours on it if we went through it again that’ll be another five hour riding what a beautiful place wow with a guess on the um on the map it did all right oh look at that fire are we going over it we’re going left oh this is absolutely stunning it is PDF Electric what a nice place for a platform yeah what a view yeah 90 meters here yeah in through the village yeah which I’m not going to complain about oh this is pretty though it’s so nice even if it’s someone’s private land oh there’s that Violet you want to go under yeah that’s cool that is cool you can see the um water reflecting off the inside of the bridge beautiful The Arches yeah across the vacuum it’s a big nunu all this this is beautiful River wherever we are it’s cool oh this is absolutely beautiful 23 kilometers on here well let’s hope it runs down the side of the river [Music] thank you slightly more impressive than cheddar yeah George oh that’s a beautiful section of river on the right bill rock falls and now I must admit I didn’t know it was like this on the map I’m glad it is I’ve just spent all day here yeah me too massive River it must be a big Dam somewhere there’s where I’ve come out because for this bit yeah so like Jurassic yeah wow hmm proper medieval city this town this is look at that I wonder where we are I don’t know foreign oh my God see how it’s all getting a bit Browner when I came to Milo last I was not going through a desert some of the best Rhymes I’ve ever had I think yeah it was so good used to match yeah too quick because you will look at everything yeah the bends are so they’re like sweeping they’re just packs yeah all right I break a lot less yeah what we’ve got yeah so you’ve got a bit of run off and you get it wrong I don’t know what that looks like a camera that’s exploded but it’s obviously not just like a camera with the lens popped off but that’s why I thought it might be a fantastic photographic area but we’ve literally got 30 minutes to get park the bike’s up I think all right and have some lunch and a drink [Music] Center historic there we go left now I assume it’s just straight over then [Music] ah we’re sort of there now in the middle yeah we’re gonna Park up here on the right we are here yeah we have yeah no dramas you have any drama and fantastic roads yeah if you will have seen them by now I guess I’ll put some more in the just the postcodes confused it oh Wreckers is down there okay yeah my destination is on the right this doesn’t look like it does it no I wonder what’s up there you think it’s up there I wonder if it is up there I’m gonna find it don’t worry I’ll find out we’ll probably you I guess yeah yeah there’s a lot of cabins where up there to the left while we just passed so let’s that first one first right yeah well that is it well done yeah I thought we might have been two-star Hotel we’ve done well right because she’s a lazy ass I’ve got to do the inside now it’s not the most fabulous place in the world but it has a spectacular View it’s got a pool you get one of these free every room you get one of these must be a French thing you get a Telly which we can’t watch obviously single bedroom a bit of storage another single bedroom in there little kitchenette type thing which we’ve demolished because we’re plugging stuff in and wardrobe um bathroom and the most important thing is we need in here is that Beasty in here wherever it is that shower there and then of course we have one of these things [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music]
