that is a ridiculous question can I ask who who wrote wrote that one who wrote or no hi I’m hi um I’m Joey King I’m Nicole Kidman that’s so true we’re here with Vogue we are here with Vogue and we’re doing off the cuff question that’s just the kind of gals we are Nicole get to it I’m so thrilled to sit with you round one yeah ice breakers my first question Nicole when did we first meet on set um no no in the rehearsal I thought you might remember uh we met no no no we we did meet in rehearsal we met in Richard’s office and you were wearing this gorgeous like linen pant and a really beautiful that’s a rehearsal that’s still rehearsal I thought you were saying I was saying I thought you’d remember and I was W what was your first impression of me I love that question no that’s not talk about my question was conceited too that’s my Miss Piggy um my first impression of you well yeah good what’s next you are the worst you never let me finish a compliment you cut me off every time when I met Nicole I had such an amazing idea of who she was going to be cuz I was such a fan of hers of course and when you love someone so much and you just know like the concept of them not them person you have no idea what to expect but she was so I always thought Nicole was so Angelic best person ever the nicest person the funniest most talented all right I’m done you can relax now Nicole what are you listening to right now music wise uh Billy ey oh love I love that she dropped the whole album me too what I love the whole album very very much so yeah yeah and the just discovering it’s it’s my album um now of the summer so that’s that love that but I’m also listening to Keith’s album high oh lovely which is not dropped yet doesn’t come out until September okay husband plug love that yeah cuz we’ve both got husbands yes we let’s give your husband a plug yes we should stevenh love you baby what’s an item you would never leave the house without jok I never leave the house without Claritin but I do love a good like eye drop too that’s going to like I don’t know I feel like I’m all phal okay so from my mother give us a lip gloss stilled in me like I carry like a big bag full of like lies yes for the day I always have peppermint pills in case I get a stomach ache I always have I never leave the house without lactate I never leave the house that’s what it is good to know um o here’s a nice one I like this one okay what’s a sound or a sensation hear the alliteration what’s a sound or a sensation you love what’s that as ASMR I love the sound of like a hairbrush through like hair especially if I’m not doing it myself if I’m like getting my hair done and like a hairbrush is running through my hair especially like one of those like bristly like I’m like it gives me the tingles I’m feeling it now I love that feeling so much I’m like it feels like a warm hug yeah I love that sound sensation wise that is a it’s kind of a similar thing it’s it’s both the sound and sensation Nicole I’ve got the opposite question for you what’s the sound or Sensation that bothers you uh nails down a chalkboard like I’m one of I’m just a classic isn’t that a classic but another sensation I love put your arm out is this the best sensation ever when you have someone tickle your arm a little bit right in the yeah in that spot but right okay fill in the blank if you don’t like blah we can’t be friends Nicole Kidman oh I feel like Nicole kimman we can’t be friends sorry sometimes I wish lank sometimes I wish um I could fly sometimes I wish all hotels had bed I don’t think I’ve ever wished for a bedet really no you’re missing out are you kidding me I’m so not European right what was the strangest audition experience I auditioned for Fargo and I wore a wig because I was bald and then I realized I forgot to tell them I was wearing a wig in the audition cuz my head was so like lumpy and weird cuz it was like a really bad it was a costume wig basically then I doubled down I was like oh my my God they really hate me CU they think I’ve got a weird head uh and I wind up getting the part which was of course that was a very stranged audition cuz I was so self-conscious and itchy and my head had a wig on it and I was bald underneath it was it was a lot a lot of things going on uh okay round two career questions oh we’re into round two we’re into round two what’s something you learned about yourself or your craft when making family a fair I learned that com oh my God I learned that comedy is really I mean comedy is very hard it’s true and but it’s super fun and it’s really really fun when you’re able to do it with people who are super nonjudgmental and so welcoming and accepting so I learned Meet Your Heroes because it works out um and that’s you okay uh Nicole a family affair is the first romantic comedy you’ve done in seven years why now one seven years ago they didn’t brief me on this part I’m not sure why now because I needed I needed to have a lightness of being because I’d come off a number of rols that were very very heavy and for my sanity I went I need to make something about love and I need have hope and I need to I need to have some fun amazing answer if you could send your 10-year-old self one message from the future what would that be you got to meet Zack Atron you did and you got to work with him and you’re not married to him but you are so happy to be his friend and um it’s great favorite advice you give to young actors hello never give up keep at it read a lot find out who you are and and do not deny the things that make you different embrace them love favorite costume from one of your films bullet train bullet train bullet train I had a really cool costume I like it was like this very innocent little girl type like school girl all pink outfit and I yeah that that was great who is someone you’d love to collaborate with in the future Isabelle ho love Isabelle ho mhm okay obsessed do you remember what you wore on your first ever right carpet God I’ve had some really bad red carpets good God Haven we all honestly I don’t remember my first but one of my first was like I was in a movie called Horton here a who um what I was in that movie like it was a animated movie called Horton here’s a who with Jim Cary the elephant movie wow in that and I wore a cute little like I think it was from jimere like a poka dot little dress and like my mom did my hair and like pigtail I know and speaking of round three fashion questions Nicole wardrobe piece or souvenir you’ve kept or wish you kept from one of your films I wish I kept the pink feathers from Mulan Rouge to say they’re so beautiful I wish I kept um the glasses from eyes wide shut everything and I keep nothing you don’t no oh terrible but I do keep all my Couture addresses tell me where is this from I know where that’s from oh I do that is my dress in we were the lucky ones in the opening the moment where we see me with my partner for the first tell me where this is from Nicole oh there it is by the way oh yeah there it is answer tell me where this is from birth uh what okay I it’s not from I think it’s from xats and and this Nicole I mean come on oh wait I wait wait this one wait no you first and this one uh to die for yes very good and here’s the image pass something joing one of my favorite and this and this I went to can recently and that’s my little peekaboo keyhole in the back of the dress that I was wearing good [Music] Lord lightning round is like very stressful you’re meant to not be so stressful I know are you having okay s sweet I think I’m sweet what what what sod sweet sweet coffee or matcha both I literally have both a coffee and then a matcha I love it thank you she she can’t be labeled thank you Country Music Awards or Academy Awards sorry Academy Awards I mean not sorry I mean sorry to Keith I guess we are asking each other the wrong oh God country music awards are Academy that’s your question both both yeah we mess up okay sorry I started asking the questions for me to her which is kind of interesting but I actually thought it was the I’m left-handed lateral creature we’re going to do I’m left-handed too yeah oh my God oh my God okay theater or film okay I’m just going to say both to everything cuz I’m not a big it’s a game of choosing no I will not choose I’ve had enough SAR to God early bird or night out early bird next inside or outside don’t say both outside okay yesterday or tomorrow oh that’s kind of nice yeserday what about now nope not on there come on my answer there I thought you
