I’m looking for an endurance road bike to be my first road cycle. I’ve tested the Trek Domane SL5 and 7 multiple times and the bike feels great. I am looking at Canyon as lower cost alternative and was looking at the Endurace but there’s not much in stock and I’m not a fan of the colors so I was checking out the Ultimate.
Many people say the Ultimate is way more aggressive but when I put in the ‘24 Ultimate CF SLX 8 Di2 size M vs the ‘23 Domane SL5 56cm on bikeinsights.com the stack and reach are almost identical.
I was very comfortable on the Trek… What other parts of the geometry should I be looking at to compare?
