Recently got into cycling with a very active background in multiple sports. I understand some of the bikes listed above might be overkill for a beginner but I'm looking to race in the near future so I don't mind spending up to $4,500 on a decent entry-level racing bike.
The options are:
- Pinarello F5 105 Di2 w/ MOST Carbon Wheels
- Tarmac SL7 Comp w/ Shimano 105 Di2
- Tarmac SL7 Sport w/ Shimano 105
LBS has the F5 for $4,500 and that seems like the best "deal" given the specs. However, I do like the look of the two Tarmacs more. SL7 sport is on sale and it's the cheapest so it doesn't sound to bad either.
