I ordered this Brompton to be shipped from Austria to the US.

The seller doesn’t have any feedback and is a new seller. In the listing it says he is shipping from another location than where the item is listed (Lincolnshire). Is there a chance this is a scam? If so, is there any way I wouldn’t be covered by eBay’s guarantee that I’m missing that would allow the seller to get away with it? Like would this be considered a “motor vehicle” and not allow me to file a claim? I just bought it on 7/4 but not sure about next steps to take. Also, I received a notification that the item shipped and saw a tracking number, which was USPS , strangely, but there is no tracking number on my eBay. I messaged him asking for tracking info and a photo of the serial number on the bike, but no reply yet.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve purchased Bromptons on eBay that have turned out to be scams — always received my money back.

You may want to preemptively contact eBay that something seems fishy just to make them aware. That way they may be quicker to refund.
