roof trusses perfect we don’t need to go on the website now do we we can see an example of their Roof System just here roof technology how it’s all connected together with these spiky metal plates I’m sure they have a technical term you can see exactly how a roof is structurally made now and all the laugh would go over well your felt would go first then you laugh and then your tiles there we go at that vehicle with the roof trusses on and we can see some more over there already made the yard goes a bit to the left and then around oh the scaffold’s there because they’re having solar panels installed look we’ll take a closer look at that in a minut got these side load of for Cliffs and quite a bit of stock got some decent racks as well across the back we will jump over to the back have a little look at this scaffold just doing the back section there’s a lot of solar panels there isn’t there you see all the cable coming to the middle you all right yeah you yeah I’m all right mate I bet you making it up we make all that ourselves so we get we get the TR 26 come in from off the lores and then we put it in through the sauce cut it all up and then put it into the jigs manufacture ourselves do you know those plates that’s just like a metal plate with spikes on in it hold it what’s the technical term for it uh it’s called a they’re called mych plates m i t e k mych yeah that’s it yeah is it yeah yeah they so they own own them plates and we just purchase them off them they’re all graded and and do you cut them to the size that you need they’re already like that they’re like that yeah they’ll come in boxes of different sizes and then there’ll be a system that shows you how to make the truss yeah and it’ll tell you what sort of plate is capable of uh using on that that part of the joint yeah cuz every roof is different yeah depending on what the customer want so what is it computerized and it comes out and you know yeah so you don’t actually do any manual cutting it’s all done by no no so it will be computerized it will come down on a bit of paper and then we’ll work from the paper and cut it all manually and then it’ll go into the production plant and it’ll will be put into a jig put the plates on all the lads put the plates on themselves in like a like a jigsaw form yeah and then the machine will just press it they lift it up put it onto a wheel right so Lads are actually lifting yes assembled you’re not crane Oro all doing it what how many required on something like that so this one here this would require about five people we have we have a uh it’s a machine and when they’re when they’re over the 95 kgs uh obviously HSC lot so we’ll have the lads on here and we’ll just just lift them use the machine at the front of the peak just to take some of the way got got love but most of it all we do these are like uh oneoff we don’t really normally do the big attics the like feature trusses the private Merchants we do standards a lot of them I think I’d say about 80% of our worker standards they’re all around about I’d say 50 kgs up to about 75 80 kgs yeah so cuz that old intersection then that’s going to be someone’s loft where they living space normally you’ve got loads of um what you call them trusses in between yeah the webs webs yeah the web some people they cut them out not knowing it’s it’s the structure do they yeah yeah and then if they want to cut them out what do they have to do they put a pearling through that so they have a g going through does detect the structural Integrity of side because you think some of the asses with the big roofs yeah private ones you you can get 20 ton of slate on some of them yeah and that g that you mentioned that sits on the brick work don’t it of the Gable end yes yeah so that’s where it’s supporting the the new weight from there rather than your webs yeah yeah got yeah and that can be done with steel or Timber can it I mean you’d have to get a structural engineer to to approve it to say what you could use with the building cuz I thought it was called a pearling is that name not ring bells yeah there’s a pearing you can use a peing that’s wood it yeah yeah they’re wood they on the corners and that like yeah the peing people come to you just for the the Roof System they don’t come to you for bits of wood do they that won’t be no HTS is uh we just a manufacturing plant so we do all the trusses and the joist but then you have the merchants that sell all the all the fenc in so this is not no this is a production plant that’s all this is but the different names obviously
