Hi everyone,

I need some advice on my current rando/mtb build I’m working on.
I have a Shimano XT RD-M773 SGS rear derailleur and a FD-M771-10 front derailleur designed for a 2×10 drivetrain and a 11-36t cassette. I’ve read that the front derailleur can handle a maximum chainring size of 42T. However, my current largest chainring is 48T.

    Rear: 11-36t 10x cassette
    Front 32 and 48 chainrings

    Questions:

    1. Do I need to replace my front derailleur to properly accommodate the 48T chainring?
    2. If yes, which front derailleur would you recommend for this setup? (MicroShift frictionless mtb bar end shifters)
    3. Are there any other compatibility issues I should be aware of?

I’ve attached a photo of my current front derailleur for reference.

Thanks in advance for your help!
