on stage four T Pacha he did what he expected himself to do he did what he wanted to do and he also did what the others feared he would do and that is Attack on the galio and it wasn’t simply just an attack by the man himself if we take a look at a series of Clips it was the teamwork that was on display now was a headwind for a lot of the giia yonas vinard was tracking the UAE Riders closely then realized he was catching a little bit more wind so we’re going to see him ease out to his right the left hand side of the picture and he goes in search of T pagach says I’m a bit too far forward just here so he just swings out and then he starts to take a look around into the eyes of his Rivals he realizes T pachu is a bit further back checking on the whereabouts of the likes of Evan AOL and rogl and then slots himself back in position catching a little bit less wind a little bit more protection but at this point still in front of T paga So paga opened up the gap for him let his major rival comeback in between and in the meantime the UAE train just rolled on now talking about that I absolute Superstar lineup That UAE have got here in this tour and climbing Powerhouse that it is using wano ja almea Adam Yates the rest of the team had already lit things up and ridden a really strong Pace on the lower slopes of the Gia and they just kept ramping up that intensity thinning out the bunch I mean this the speed that you see on the screen belies how difficult that this climb is so it got rid of all the other domestics just about except for the likes of Mikela but it was all the UAE team in control and T Pacha able to just sit in the wheel rather than trying to do the damage himself we did start to wonder however would the attack come at all being a headwind and waiting for the steeper slopes T paga chose to go late 840 M before the top in fact on the steepest slopes of the gier altitude as well 2,642 M the air is thin oxygen not readily available that had everybody on their hands and knees and when Pacha went immediate reaction from both vinard and Remco iol IAP realized quickly he couldn’t match them and vinegar then he had to let the Gap open up just meter by meter as they approached the top it was a real tug of war between pachad and vinard that Pacha was steadily winning eeking out a gap as he got to the top of the climb of around 8 seconds now a lot of question marks were there about how good vinard and how Brave vinegar was going to be on the descents looking back to that nasty crash involving himself Remco Evol Primos rogl back in the tour of the bus country in April we thought that maybe yanis vineard might be a little bit hesitant in The Descent and I’m absolutely certain that is something that t p AA was also relying on that if he could get a gap over the top that he would just have to dare vegard to take the risks necessary to try and catch him and that’s where he could even potentially open up a bigger Gap wet Corners as well now Pacha he sailed through there slight adjustment of line but very very smooth 100% committed when we see yonis vinegar come in the same Corner leans it over you just see that twitchiness the knee come out a bit further adjusting his line once he’s already on that wet patch and that’s the type of thing that just lets that Gap open a little bit more a little bit more vinegar will then eventually be caught by the rest of the chasing group in including Remco IAP who would take the rest of the bonus seconds on offer I also importantly in front of rogl and vinard mopping up the last bonus seconds and protecting his leader T Pacha so he has really struck a big blow not a knockout Blow by any means in this tour to France after Just 4 days but a healthy lead for T paga and the UAE team plan well it went perfectly

Pog only has 50 seconds on Jonas. Will only be 2 minutes after the TT. Pog is so cooked. Jonas will easily take back 15 minutes. At least that’s what I hear from people! He can only get stronger! At least that’s what people say. 🤡🤡🤡
Had pog attacked farther away from the top, it would’ve been a bigger gap. But I guess he was being cautious because v is normally better at pure climbing than pog

I don’t get how good vinni boy is considering his injuries he had something is going on here
JV actually descended better that Pogacar in the beginning which is the more technical/dangerous part of the descent. Even though Pogacar was exploding much stronger out of every corner he actually didn't put any time on Vingegaard in the first section. It was only when the road got less technical and it was purely power-based that Pogi got the gap open. So Pogi was not taking more risks than JV.

Why does everyone think Jonas will get better and Tadej will get worse as the tour goes on? Am I missing something? If you’re referring to last year you would think it would be Jonas getting worse and Tadej getting better because of the preparation up to the race

When a bad day arrives, and it will. Pog will have to do damage control, this Tour at least his got a team which wasn’t present in previous Tours. Vin can ride himself into the Tour, still a long way to you, will that Giro finally catch up with the Pog machine?

Pogacar is the strongest now, if it weren't for the wind it would have attacked before and given everyone minutes, if the remco continues to be so close, the time trial will be a headache… Almeida could perfectly be a leader of another team, the evolution was impressive, in fact, the ayuso was a little unfair, he took advantage of Almeida's work, and only at the end did he work a little to disguise it…
