Wild Camping | Cycling From UK to Portugal Before Lockdown

the moment got real was in northern spain just outside santander it was a week into our trip and had been pouring down non-stop and on this particular day we met the steepest incline yet we are struggling to push our loaded bikes and we were faced with an ultimatum do we continue this ridiculous adventure or do we turn back luckily dan suggested to keep cycling and see if we can reach somewhere to probably discuss the matter it seemed like a fair deal when we reached the top we reluctantly got back onto our bikes little did we know it’s a five mile cycle downhill at the bottom we realize there’s no way in hell we’re going back so we’ve been moving forward ever since [Music] so so sketch cycle cycle and because our bikes are ancient they broke multiple times oh what’s happened you’re not going anywhere another day another drama [Music] but eventually we did make it to some beautiful places so [Music] paradise [Music] go away please go away [Music] hold back go away camping isn’t as simple as booking somewhere online you’ve got to find somewhere hidden where your tent won’t sink into mud or get slashed and of course a nearby water source for cooking and showering is this welcome to the crusty club fresh deer the campsite this is our spot for today by the railroads okay it’s your character we’ve been in portugal for six months now we’re excited to get back on the bikes and continue our journey along the rest of the algarve and into spain [Applause] so
