I bought a Curve Kevin online, and took it to a shop to have them assemble it.

Shortly after, I felt like my seat was constantly slipping down. After pulling the seat post out, it looked like there was a little bit of grease on it.

I’ve wiped it down many times, such that there’s no visible grease, but it still slips. I’m using a torque wrench, so my seat post clamp is definitely tight enough.

Any tips for how to remove grease completely in this situation? Or is there another way to get my seat post to stick?

my take for that is remove all grease with any detergent, apply an Anti-Seize Compound, or carbon anti slip and torque it to max 6NM, I do it in my bike and don’t forget to slap it and say “that’s not going anywhere”.

The seatpost clamp has its torque specified. Most likely you can reach out to Curve to ask how tight it should be. Highly likely it’ll be in the range of 5-6nm.
