he gone and done it with so many people been talking everyone not so many everyone’s been talking about the possibility of Mark Cavendish winning a stage in this year to to make it 35 and as you said against the odds improbable three days ago vomiting on himself and then today he is the king of stage wins in the tour to France and not only the the number and getting the stage win but the way in which he did it the way in which his team pilot him initially but the way we saw vintage Cav in thatal 5 followed philson but then Instinct him I don’t need to be on this right side I need to be a to get out I need to be able to unleash fully and not get blocked and when he it opened up in front of him you thought this is just this is 100% Kev it’s just not for me it was just not overthinking it he just had full confidence in himself and I think we’ve not seen that from c a long time but it’s just beautiful to see his family there everyone else there as well his partner Peter Todd Peter Cavendish apologies but yeah I think it’s just like you said all it’s it’s such a huge part of history and this history is going to keep growing I said this the other day once C gets one it can probably get two or three but or six or six the man is a legend this is just absolutely beautiful his family who flew out to the race for this stage his wife Peter his children all the people who’ve been through the highs and more significantly the lows of Mark kish’s his career his professional life his personal life this moment this smile This Kiss to his son is the culmination of years of sacrifice of Blood Sweat of literal tears to get to this moment this is one of the greatest moments in sporting history Danny this isn’t a moment of cycling Legend This goes down in in the entire world of sport and it’s why we love Sport and this sport in you know so bloody much oh we do don’t we he is Adam’s put it perfectly a legend he really is to come back from so many ups and downs throughout his career and do it when everyone was writing him off years and years ago he is just shown what a real sporting great is and I can hardly find the words I’m so so happy for him from honestly the depths of my heart I wanted this for him so much as we all did as a nation from everything that he’s been through and he’s executed it perfectly I don’t even think as a nation I think the entire sport has been fully behind him Robbie fans other teams other writers everyone has wanted this for Mark Cavendish this year they wanted it last year as well he crashed out of the race last year it was supposed to be his final year riding the greatest race in the sport he’s come back one last time when many said he shouldn’t that he should leave it where it was he came back and for a reason cuz he knows he could do it not bad for Blog has been retired for a year shortest another record shortest ever retirement but you know to to scrape himself up off the deck last year with a broken collarbone out of the tour and and you know into retirement like that it’s it was never the way is going to go out but to get offered a contract purely on the chance of winning one more stage in the tour and to go through all of that again but you know his desire was burning so deeply to try and get this it’s a it’s a credit to the the team who have given him this opportunity and everybody who’s been with him in front of him and behind him and next to him helping him get to this point and so much goes into it and and you could just see what it meant from the and I’m sure we’ll see many more tears gigantic Smiles as well but it’s marked there’s going to be more tears but there’ll be good ones well that’s enough from us because he managed to catch up from the man himself the legend who’s just his name outright in the history books of this beautiful sport it’s Mark cendes

So happy for Cav after the last few years he’s been through. A great guy and great competitor, I definitely had a bit of emotion watching him cross that line as the winner!
A stage win with all the the much younger best sprinters, and boom the cannon is out, its an amazing win and sprint.
