Turn your head man! Watch the video back, you’re looking straight over the bars the entire time. I’d learn it fly out of a bank or quarter before I tried a hop 180

Gotta lift higher, especially on the front end. And carve into it, do half the rotation on the ground if you have to. The end goal is to land backwards, rolling. And turn your head like the other comment said.

    3. As with alot of this stuff, commitment is key. Keep your head turned looking the way you ‘want” to go till you hit 180°. You go where you’re looking. If you only look back for a second you only turn for a second. Keep in mind that is a very simplified verson and there are exceptions. But not with hop 180’s, there pretty straight up. Look and your ass will follow.

    4. Try to learn how to “quarter”, basically going up a ramp and doing a 180 to go back down. That’s how i mostly got the feel to doing it off a ramp when i got confident doing quarters. Personally i learnt em first going off a kicker, then on a lil groove in the skatepark that served me as a lil ramp, then i hit flatground… Still it cost me lots of time

You’re trying to spin left but you have your left foot forward. Trying to learn like that will make it really difficult. If you ride left foot forward, you should spin to the right. If you’re right foot forward, you should spin to the left.
