🚴 Bordeaux to Toulouse Velo Trip

We just finished a 5 day e-cycling trip from Bordeaux to Toulouse mostly along the Canal Garonne paths 🇫🇷🚴 no training, very little planning and route tips from @salteesesdog @gyanyankovich 🙌

Here’s our itinerary and trip details.
Day 1- Bordeaux to La Réole 80kms 🌦️🥐🏔️
02 delivered the bikes to the main train station. We made our way out of the city along the river, through the countryside to
Sauveterre-de-Guyenne. Afternoon pastries before final leg to beautiful La Réole which was quite hilly and difficult- bike battery died with 5kms to go☠️! – 🛌 Les Chacobins.
Day 2 – La Réole to Tonneins 50kms 🌧️🥖🍃
Winding out of La Réole after a great stay we made our way down the canal, skipping a few villages and stopping at Le Mas-d’Agenais for lunch. It poured down for a few hours, finally we rode thru Tonneins to our fantastic accomodation, picking up groceries 🛌 Domaine de Bertranet and all was worth it.
Day 3- 🛞🌞🧀 Tonneins to St Jean de Thurac 70kms
After a flat tyre fix we hit the road. We doubled back to Tonneins and made our way up river to Agen. After long but beautiful day riding Finally we arrived at the magnificent, 🛌 Le Clos for a swim
Day 4 – 🍑🥮🍺 St Jean de Thurac to Grenade 80kms
Biggest day & the ass was in agony, 1st stop pastry brunch in Moissac. Then along aqueducts and mostly under tree canopies until we stopped for some schooners at Montech before winding our way along the canal and out to Grenade. 🛌 Airbnb Le Creative Place
Day 5- 🌦️🏙️ 🥩 Grenade to Toulouse 25km
After a bit of needed R&R we set out for our final and shortest day, riding back over to Canal du Garonne and into the heart of Toulouse. We had an exquisite lunch at @loubnanerestaurant followed by our final destination @entrecote_restaurants Toulouse 😍
Day 6 – 🚴 Bicycle Train back to Bordeaux to return the bikes. 🫰🫰
