Hi all, I’m a beginner and want to get into cycling.

I’ve biked before but on a bike that wasn’t my fit and really enjoyed it so went to the store and bought one that fits my size. I’m 6’2. (Not sure if this is relevant but apparently it’s hard to find frames??)

The reason I went with a new one is because they offered adjustments and since I don’t know how to fix the parts or whether they’re good or not, thought it was easier to get one and ride it.

The sales person told me this was a really good bike for entry level.

However I’m confused whether this bike is a road bike or a gravel bike? I wanted a bike specifically to train and hopefully go fast eventually.

Sorry if this seems very newbish in advance! And thank you!

    1. Not newbieish at all mate, you’ll love the bike, I own 2 AL2’s and regret not getting them sooner. It’s classified as an endurance bike meaning you’re more relaxed compared to a race bike like the emonda or madone on longer rides, along with having clearance to jump to even bigger tires than the 32 or 30s most dealers put on them. The domane can work with gravel riding of you slap the right pair on too. Next thing for you to do is ride like theres no tommorow, dm if you ever have questions on upgrades or anything related to the bike!
