in today’s leads news FAO exit expected Burnley move could open door for Roberts Joe rad on signs for leads Striker sales possible Creswell move is off and news wrap [Applause] [Music] up hey folks J here Tuesday Morning the 2nd of July at The View with your legion news hope you’re all having a a reasonably good week so far there’s a bit of stuff to get through just wanted to clarify a few bits in pieces for people asking about the PSR situation the 30th of June deadline was the end of the three-year PSR cycle so we now move into a new PSR cycle which should free up a lot of cash for clubs to start to spend the issue around the Archie gray situation the financial part of that anyway is relating to the three-year period that led up to the end of that PSR period on the 30th and not just the last 12 months so some uh issues that the 49ers Enterprises had to deal with at the back end of the orter rad rozani situation and then also their own situation as well so between the three parties they left us in a situation where leads were stuck on the end of the W of the PSR and looking to try and bring some money in but there is some other news floating around about some other potential exits from leads there appears to be a rebuild happening at the club and players going out before we start to see players coming back in the first one to talk about is a junior fpo situation yesterday in the Daily Mail a report came out that basically said that leads were looking at the possibility of selling Junior fero this SU summer fpo is into the final year of his contract at leads United and has probably struggled during his time at leads last season probably his most standout season for Leeds and was arguably one of the uh first names on the team Sheet come the end of the season after are really impressive second half of the season last year but leads have a decision to make with that one year left on his deal and appears they may be about to make that decision fpo is not expected to be offered a new contract at Le United and now with some news coming out around the Olympics it appears the writing may just be on the wall for junior fero’s time at Le United fpo has been called up to the Dominican Republic Olympic Squad a squad that the clubs can decide whether players go to or not as it is outside of FIFA’s calendar window so therefore the clubs have jurisdiction over players not the international sides Leeds rejected an approach from Spain for Striker Mato Joseph to go to the Olympics with them but appeared to have approved foros leaving to join up with the Dominican Republic Squad finals of that tournament don’t take place until the day before the championship season kicks off although the Dominican Republic are not expected to be a country that get into the finals it would still result in a late return for junior fero and missing the beginning of the championship season and given that and given how light leads are in the fullback areas this appears to show a bit of shine a bit of light on a situation that leads may be looking at other options in the left back position leads don’t have cover in the left back position outside of s Byam given s Byrum’s ability to play in every single game Leeds would def definitely need to look at bringing in a left back who that is right now outside of the only left back being linked recently in Luca Nets from gladbach there isn’t a whole lot of noise around any other left backs right now but that I suppose is becoming the normal leads around potential transfers H one player that could be in line for return to leads United is potentially Burnley fullback Connor Roberts leads are said to remain interested in bringer con bringing Conor Roberts back to the club next season but patience might be needed on this one Bernie still don’t have a manager but they are being heavily linked with PSV einthoven’s fullback shande who if signed would likely push Conor Roberts down the Peck in order at Burley and could free up the player for a return to Le United berley will need to sell some players during this window and Leeds will be hoping that Roberts is one of those players that they will be willing to let go a player who although didn’t play a lot of games for Leeds with a full preseason on his belt you would imagine will be a player that would take the right back position permanently for the rest of the season season but that is one that will take time to happen and one to keep an eye on over the next couple of weeks the first signing is in the Doo and that is Joe rodon and confirmation has come out Joe rhan has officially signed for League United on a permanent basis for next season there was a slight delay in getting the deal done as rhodon was at a training camp in California according to Graham Smith at the yep Joe rhodon has turned down several offers from the Premier Division in order to return to lead United Thomas Frank at brenford was said to to be someone that was very interested in bringing Joe rhon in as well as Archie gray a bad couple of days for Thomas Frank but in his tweet Graeme Smith said the following the Joe rod on Deal sounds like it’s just about there had Leicester city ipswitch and brenford as options this summer decided to return to lead United I suspect the finances were a bit more lucrative elsewhere as well leads start to rebuild the squad for next season’s campaign some other news has also come out from the Daily Mail regarding the legion United Striker situation going into the Summer according to the Daily Mail leads are likely to offload one of their Strikers this summer it’s claimed in a report from the mail that Leeds could consider offers for either Joe perau or Patrick Bamford this summer perau was signed fight by Leeds from Swansea last season for a deal that in its totality would be around 16 million pounds and Patrick banford is is one of the highest earners at leag United and despite the fact that he’s on a 40% wage cup for the championship is still on very high wages for the championship the report says that both players are attracting interest from outside of the UK but that those destinations haven’t been named just yet Mato Joseph and Joe Gard are also the other two Strikers on Le United books right now and Joseph is expected to have a bigger part to play next season for Le United and moving one of the two front players out of his way could free up the striker for a run at the first team and his preseason will be huge in that as well Joe ghard on the other hand will have to try and refine some form in the dangel farcus system he didn’t play a lot of games last season a lot of that was duing to illness and inj injury similar situation that jimy Shackleton found himself in last year you would hope for a reemergence this summer of Joe Gard or a likely exit for Joe would be on the cards moving on to a deal that is off and the Charlie Creswell to to loose deal is officially off according to Graeme Smith the creswell’s proposed move to the French league side has collapsed after Le United and toose were said to have agreed a 3.5 million pound deal for the player to move on a permanent basis medical was completed all fin ances from the club’s perspective were sorted but Smith’s detail says that the collapse is very much on the player side and Creswell has failed to agree personal terms with the French side I’ve said this and I’ll probably keep saying it I’m surprised at how quickly lead are looking to offload Charlie Creswell he has three years left on his deal he’s 21 years of age he’s not earning massive money in leads you would imagine get him out on loan for a season let him play games have a look at him watch him develop and then make a call next year where either his price goes up or he can come back and play for Legion United and you kind of win-win either way there as long as the the longan goes well leads seem to be very keen to sell the player after apparent falling out with Daniel far last season it’s a situation that I think should be resolved by both player and manager and move on from that because I think cell does have something to offer Le United but that remains to be seen we’ll have to see what happens with that situation over the rest of the summer but once a player has been uh sold or AG a sale has been agreed by a club it’s likely that that’s the destination that that will happen it’s tough to come back from that and stay at the club then when the club were so willing to let you go for a very cheap cheap price as well and then today just do a wrap-up section of all the kind of smaller news stories that are floating around that are linked to leads the first one is around Darko JB who is expected to return to Plymouth our guyle on a season long loan next season the 20-year-old did have a spell on loan at Plymouth last season but only managed 10 games before an injury ended his season abruptly our gule however I said to have seen enough in JB to want him back for another season and be part of the Wayne Rooney era at Plymouth JB does have two years left on his deal at Le United so this loan move will be a very important loan for him if he wants to establish himself as a Le United player or put himself in the shop window for a move to a bigger side next summer when he goes into the final year of his deal but dco ja did enough a plit last season for me to think there’s a player in there they played him as more advanced number 10 whereas Le played him as a six so it be an interesting one to keep an eye on over the course of the season and we will obviously cover the younger players with lone watch so you can keep an eye on their progress over the course of the year the other piece of news is around the new new PSR time frame as mentioned at the start of the video we now move in to a new PSR time frame after the 30th of June deadline passed leads losses for the next three years will drop by 22 million and leads are were said to have been hamstrung by the previous three-year period and the financial management that had gone on at behind the scenes at leads leading into last season premier league signs sides in this new cycle will be permitted losses of 105 million over a three-year period while teams in the efl will be per committed losses of 39 million over a three-year period leads are anticipated to announce Financial losses when the next set of finances financials are published in the New Year and that should be expected with the drop in finances from the Premier Division the high wage that leads around and the reduced amount of income that came into the club during its time first season back in the championship it’s very keen the leads get out of this division this year so that 39 million goes back up to 105 or is a is a balanced out between the two of that one so we keep an eye on that and then today and the final story so far is around Cody drama who is officially a free agent after his contract at Leeds expired Leeds are said to have had received no reply from Cody drama after an additional contract was offered to the player that contract was seen as an attempt leads to avoid losing out on compensation and should drama sign for another club leads would be entitled to compensation as part of his development Luton Town card of city and Birmingham are all said to be interested in bringing the player in three sides that he has spent time at Lan at over the last three years it is a fair cry from the links between brucia Dortmund and Newcastle United that were said last summer around the player in the last couple of seconds it has literally just been confirmed Joe Roden has signed a deal at Legion night until 2028 and Archie gray has moved and signed a six-year deal at Tottenham day of boat being confirmed officially Now by Legion Night you can go check that out if you want to folks I will be back tomorrow morning for more leads news if anything happens over the course of today I will jump back on with a live stream tonight that will be the kind of course of action going forward over the course of the next couple of weeks it’s expected to be very busy so as news change I’ll try and jump back on and update you as as soon as I can if any news kind of breaks during that period of time so have a great rest of your day and I’ll talk to you tomorrow morning see you then bye

    1. Feel like banging Farke and Cresswells heads together and tell them to sort things out … Charlie show some patience and do you talking in training and on the pitch … Farke stop being so stubbon and become more supportive and use the youthful talent we have at our disposal Joseph, Gelhart, Cresswell, perhaps Crewe? Hopefully we can get a creative mid, a striker (Jebberson) get rid of Pat, and perhaps a keeper as Meslier handles crosses worse than Dracula 😡

    2. Of those two I would prefer to lose Bamford. We should have sold him 2-3 years ago. Firpo is another one who can go for me.

    3. Great strategy – sell your best players replace with crap players that other teams are desperate to dump = Leeds United permanently in division 2 (if we're lucky) while massive profits made from sales by pretend investors – owners into their pockets. Will we ever learn?

    4. I think it'll be Bamford that will go unless we can recoup the money we paid for JP. Big season for Joseph coming up. I have a feeling we'll go for Max Aaron's again as the move hasn't worked out for him

    5. Thx again Ger for the full and comprehensive round up of Leeds news … I agree with others regarding Charlie … nothing to lose in giving him a run in the starting XI and let him prove himself. I reckon he'll come through with flying colours …

    6. Bamford should go to the usa and join klich. I hope we keep charlie. i also hope to see a bit of Charlie crew in pre season .

    7. Both Piroe & Bamford can go for me Ger. Let’s take stock and get it right this time. A natural goal scorer that fits the system & isn’t injury prone…No more mend & make do in the striker role…

    8. I really think we need a midfielder that can pick the ball up and run with it instead of side to side passes . Someone like Archie Gray
      Oh 😫😫😫😫😫

    9. If we sold Cre could we see Aaronson as an attacking mid and Rutter moved to an inverted winger ? I think Rutter could be quite dangerous with space to work in out wide and cutting inside

    10. Send charlie back to millwall. Its a no brainer. His contract probably last longer than Farke and then we still have him with a manager with no history!

    11. My concern is what happened with last season and wales internationals being tied up for games, that would mean Rodon, James, Ampadu, Roberts(if signed) and as we saw last season they came back exhausted and injured, For this reason we should not sign more than two players from any national side. Roberts better be a more more realistic price, I was not that pleased we paid 10M+ for Rodon when we have two better defenders who are both worth less despite the fact they don't want to play for us, the Rodon deal we overpaid (yet again), I have a mixed view of Rodon, and at the end of last season he was not as good as he was when he first played for us and faded a little bit towards the end of the season. I think its the right time to sell Firpo he is a championship player and although he has played better this season his defensive work is terrible and has cost us goals conceded, and I think now we have to offload him, I don't see much more progression from him, the Olympics would put him in the shop window. Would have liked to have seen CC go, he needs game time, he's not going to get it with Farke no matter how good the fan base thinks he is, he needs to be moved on, same with Greenwood, Gelhardt, Dramah, Shacks, Meslier, Cooper, Kamara. Very pleased the management are perhaps heading my advice and pushing out the serial treatment table hogger, now that would benefit us no end but maybe refusing an Olympic start for Joseph might mean that the Club have more concrete plans to use him more and would prevent him from being exposed in the shop window if he played very well? I doubt Piroe would go, I think if Farke learned anything from last season Piroe still managed to score more goals than Bumfluff in his first season than Bumfluff did in the last two and he's been available to play, tactics and utilisation of the player aside.

    12. Thanks Ger, I wish Archie all the best. Hats off to Rodon for turning down offers from other clubs to play for Leeds. Joe has a big heart which will help to solidify the Leeds defense this coming season. I would like to see Bamford depart. Pat got paid around 4.2 million last season and scored 8 goals. That's 525.000 pounds sterling per goal, WTF.
