UAE and visma beefing during positioning battles did Anto Mar choose the right Sprinter Vanderpool having an ill time mechanical this was the first Sprint stage of the tour to France 231 km long a true transition stage from Penza to Terin going near to the border of the French side of the Alps uh today and as you can see is a Sprint stage nothing too much of note Happy Days for pedison maybe a bit of nervousness for the GC teams Picacho probably going to give away the Jersey Richard carapaz could take it if he finished like 10 stage positions ahead of pagat and because there’s so many Sprint teams here because it’s not even the weekend stage everyone decided to sit in the Pelton no one even went in the exposure TV exposure breakway Gran had some new glasses on which he didn’t actually wear for the finish the unox boys who got in the break actually sat up then and got rejoined uh by the peleton and so alberon Tre and later jco Lula just started pacing anyway so that we could get the stage over with uh to the first intermediate Sprint bit of pace about the race now dear getting the lead out from ARA B&B hotels uh but philipson actually jumps a bit late and from a bit deep and he and M Pon they’re the two favorites of that competition it should be philipson or pedison winning that and pederson’s got a real Fighting Chance could carapaz though go into yellow which would be huge for EF education easy post on the few climbs that we did have as you can see they’re short they’re not that steep the sprinters teams came to the front and blocked it up a little bit uh into Marche for ton at this point and I care for dear as I said they don’t climb so well but no one was trying anything anyway Gia went up and that created a bit of order actually because it meant that a real Chase had to happen UAE and visma though with under an hour left they start to move up into the first 20 wheels of the peleton behind the three sprinters teams that had taken it up all day and then the roundabouts begin now it’s a straight from 10ks to go to 5Ks to go the 3 km rule got moved to 5Ks to go but kicking the right side of the round about is key or you could just stay out of it like Remco and sudar quickstep did today I’ll show you that in the overhead whereas vismer and UAE here it starts Solair wanting benote to not be right in the pocket I think of paga and to move up next to COV but then vot saying well why don’t you go over to where your teammate is instead of trying to have two trains both of them not too happy with each other vingar is there behind tratnik eventually because I don’t know uh COV wasn’t going quick enough he lets himself get rolled over by diler which is not very helpful for either of their courses Adam Yates and peacock Y is like what are these guys all on about why don’t you just sit back here and you don’t have all the the bother and fast and stress and you know what he’s kind of right although he did have a big uh crash in a Sprint stage or before her feet actually in a concussion earlier in the year so he stays at the backl like his brother and Pitcock and rco did as well next big roundabout tratnik with vinger guard goes on the right hand side of the train UAE go on the left hand side and as you can see that is not a perfectly symmetrical roundabout although maybe it is and it’s just like an uneven Circle or the exit is anyway the right side was way quicker and so UAE have lost about 15 positions on the left hand side and Yan tratnik decides to do something that he’s been trying to do for probably the last 10 km which just move over to the left hand side of the road as with vingard in his will he moves over to the left but he doesn’t have the rest of the visar riders with him and so Alon EF and Israel they’re all kind of normally riding in a line on the right hand side of the road and then covs complaining saying we were on the left and then tratnik saying well we moved over and then eventually UAE just go back to the leftand side of the road anyway that were quite good actually in positioning with poet well and COV and Solair and kelderman and poet they seem to calm things down cooler heads prevail and it all gets in a line but you can see while those two teams were stressing maybe unnecessarily quickstep there are the back here with Remco rogl with Bora reel Bor hgar there at the back chilling uh just chilling at the back that was obviously their decision they decided not to get amongst it and uh well they didn’t spend any energy they didn’t get caught in any crashes so that decision was kind of Vindicated but it can go wrong even for sudal quickstep you see C Pon goes down I don’t know how close to rco it was alberon D kernick with the GC team still fighting there on the right hand side not hitting the front they never they never usually hit the front too early seem to look like vanat was going for the Sprint and indeed he was going to try and piggy back off that Albertson to KCK train and take the wheel of yasper philipson but 7 and a half K to go 2 and 1/2 K to the 5 km salvation Zone and MTI vandero has a mechanical he’s not able to come back into the race he’s the pivotal crucial final man for Yas philipson as we saw on occasion last year and 5Ks to go it seemed to work like all the GC teams just went to the back and then the the sprinters teams took over although one of those sprinters teams today is EF education easy post they tried to go for caras in the Sprint for stage placements even their Sprinter Vandenberg went for him uh to try and take the yellow Jersey off paga for a day and then there’s a big crash what everyone was fearing high speed Sprint crash we see rers Looking Back le port’s looking back that means Van’s either in it or not far away from it we see inos jerseys dear’s Jersey and aana jerseys so Cavendish philipsson vanart and maybe a few others out of the Sprint and it’s actually ends up being a very small group going to the Sprint very similar to stage three in 2021 where merer won the Sprint after there were some crashes and splits and Anto marhe got the most Riders Stan’s leading out mads pson for little treack the terson’s going to be the last man it looks like for herban ton that was who they were going to go for Anto he’s their pure Sprinter and in a flat stage on a rainy day in Belgium he maybe is but you see benim gai is positioned on the wheel of I think reinders was growing ofan there as well he’s lurking at the back not going for the lead out and he’s going to go for his own Sprint and that ends up being a very prudent decision regardless of the final result because tson gets left on the front too early he gets washed back bie Cho the correct line on the left hand side sturen starts launching it on the left but Pet’s having to spend a bullet in the wind already and so bie and Del Le get the perfect run into the wheel of sturen whilst Pon has to sort of he doesn’t even really get into sten’s wheel ever he starts sprinting bie comes out of the wheel of sturen pedon waves but doesn’t go all the way to the barriers and gets beaten by benum gmet huge win for him look who’s 14th Richard caraz taking what is the yellow Jersey tast and celebrating behind which was really really nice to see and it ended up being correct letting the guys do their own Sprints I’m not sure it was the the original plan but benie what a win for him the disappointment in the juror toal you when he crashed out when he looked like he had his fastest legs ever actually in the bunch Sprints and in a hectic stage the first pure Bunch Sprint of this Twitter France takes the W fantastic to see we have DSM AR and Anto Mar getting big wins ahead of gavi dele Pon gr and bah yakobson balerini Bennett coard here’s what B him had to say after the stage and how much it meant to him since I started cycling T France was yeah I’m never dreaming to be part of T France but now yeah I can’t believe it to win in t France second year in the big bunch Sprint yeah for me was unbelievable I just want to say thank you to my family my wife all the arrian and African we must be proud now we are really part of the big races and then we success a lot of uh uh victories so now uh it’s our moment it’s our time

    1. Maybe they should take GC placement with 5k to go on pure sprint stages. There would be zero need for any to get involved in the sprint.

    2. Take a video about this , The world is now ruled by one community of people, the world Satanic elite, you can also call them the committee to meet the Antichrist and prevent the 2nd coming of Jesus, Trump called them the deep state, at the moment it consists of about 10,000 people, the main ones there are Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Windsors, Baruchs, they, their ancestors, descendants and other people who enter there have the mark of Lucifer, which, if they bring the antichrist and do not allow the 2nd coming, they will receive eternal life after the x hour, and the rest of humanity, for all the time that they have lived, they won't get anything, so all people should know about the existence of a world government (Jesus who was a The Prophet of God, not God.God will send Jesus as a reward to humanity, if humanity deserves it, for this it is necessary to fight Lucifer and his elite)

    3. I always thought he was “dangerous”.
Once, he was cut off in a race that I thought he would’ve won. But that what happens in races. Stuff happens.
      Congrats. The stars aligned.

    4. TF? Froome who was born in Kenya! We've had an African stage winner…heck..we've had a multi TDF winner already from Africa. Oh but wait…he's white…so it doesn't count lol SMH. Diversity! And yeah yeah…he doesn't live there anymore. Meh!

"Froome was born in Nairobi to British parents who later divorced when his father filed for bankruptcy. He and his mother, who encouraged his riding, moved to South Africa, where he was educated and began training at the age of 12 with Kenyan cyclist David Kinjah. Froome, who learned to speak Swahili and a little Kikuyu (a regional language), was included by Kinjah in excursions with much-older native Kenyan riders on basic bikes through the dusty rural highlands near Nairobi. After attending a South African boarding school, he studied economics for two years at the University of Johannesburg, but, unlike his two brothers (both accountants), he decided to pursue a cycling career."

    5. First Eritrean and First African Tour De-France stage winner congrats BINI congrats 🎊🎈🎉 All Africans and especially we ERITREANS are really proud of you 👍 mashallah 🤩
