As its army advances, Russia has experimented with multiple approaches to crossing exposed fields.

This idea of using motorcycles has been developed because the frontline is hyper-monitored.
So, there are 3 possibilities :
– you find a way to be undetected or the late possible
– you find a way to sustain heavy threats such are artillery shells or FPV
The usage of motorcylcle has given good result along with the use of either very light SUV/buggy or IFV , either alone or with small groups and without MBT support. the idea is to go fast, fast, fast, take the first trenchs and then add more troops.

I don't understand why people are laughing at the use of motorbike… it does not at all prevent Russia to still use tank and IFV. They are still largely in use. People just don't see how this improve infantry attack. using bike allow their infantry to move faster and surprise attack and probably avoid drone. I think they are being mocked as western people don't have any argument left against Russia, after making fun of almost every equipment, Russia is still winning and you know… when you don't know how to find some argument.. you just mocking…

It's not about the cost. It's more like tanks and trucks are slow enough to be an easier target now due to the massive usage of drones while motorcycles are much faster. It's about mobility.
